Tina shut her eyes tight as she felt Bette‘s arms wrap around her and Tina was fighting off the urge to break down and cry right then and there. Tina heard Bette‘s words but she didn’t believe them and Tina let Bette hold her for a second before pushing her away hard. As much as she loved Bette and was willing to try and figure things out with her down the road, right now was not the time. Bette looked hurt as Tina turned around and looked at her with annoyance and pity.
“Don’t do that Bette. Don’t think it will all just go away.”
“Tina“
“No Bettewe can’t do this right now okay? Shane is all I care about right now.”
“Tina pleasehear me out”
“No BetteI don’t want to hear your lies right now. I-”
“They’re not lies TI do love YOUand only YOU.”
“Then why Bette? Tell me why you did it”
Bette didn’t have an answer for her so she just stared at her with a blank stare as Tina waited impatiently for an answer. After a few minutes of silence Tina got tired of waiting and she grabbed her stuff as she pushed past Bette and out of the bathroom. Bette watched Tina go and she just stared at her as she left. Bette couldn’t believe Tina‘s unwillingness to hear her out. She knew she had messed things up really bad and all, but she never thought Tina would be so cold to her.
Tina walked out of the bathroom and continued to run around trying to gather her stuff so that they could head back to the hospital. Bette emerged fully dressed and stared at Tina once more before giving up and deciding just to get them back to the hospital. She sighed as she reached for the door but when she opened it a look of shock and panic crossed her face. Tina saw the change in Bette‘s demeanor and walked over to see what made Bette‘s face turn white. Tina saw who was at the door and she felt a surge of anger rip through her body. She clenched her fists and set her jaw in anger as she growled at Bette.
“What the hell is she doing here?”

“ZoeZoe what is going on?’ Shane looked around as if she were trying to find someone she didn’t know. She closed her eyes and felt Zoe‘s lips on hers once again but when she opened them she was disappointed to realize she was alone. Shane looked around at the cold room with its tile floors and ghostly white appearance and listened to the sound of the machines beeping and humming as her body fought to stabilize itself. Shane looked around and she felt her eyes water up as she suddenly felt more alone and abandoned than she could ever remember.
“Damn you Zoeyou did it oncedon’t do this to me again.’
