Bette’s POV:

All of us got settled in and T and I were at the head of the table and everyone sat gifts on a separate table for us. It was very thoughtful of them to do that. Everybody looked at menu for a few minutes and chatted for a bit until the waiter came and took our orders. Kit said, "Congratulations to the soon to be married Kennard-Porters!" Shane and Alice said in unison, "Congrats, you two!" Christopher and Linda smiled their congrats to both of us and everybody raised their glasses of water to us and toasted us. Within a minute or so after the toast, the waiter brought us our drinks and appetizers which were fried clams and onion rings with ranch sauce. We digged in and continued to talk about the wedding and the honeymoon. Alice smirked and said, "I know what the honeymoon is going to be like for you, both of you won’t be doing much outside!" Both T and I were blushing and everybody was laughing at us. I said, "You don’t know that, we may walk along the coast, holding hands and…" Alice finished, "Thump like bunnies as the cold water splashes itself on the both of you!"

Tina’s POV:

Alice was indeed the comedienne of the group and both Bette and I were embarrassed as hell, especially since my dad and step mom, Linda were there. But they were laughing as well and being the good natured people they were. I said, "Alice, were you always like this?" Bette answered, "She was like this since we’ve been in college together and hasn’t stopped since!" Alice exclaimed, "Hey Porter, I can answer by myself, thank you very much and yes I was always like this, Kennard!" Shane said, "And you can’t shut her up either!" Alice shot Shane a look and my dad said to Bette, "You have a wonderful set of friends, Bette. Keep them close!" Bette grinned at him and said, "Don’t worry, I will! They will make sure I will, especially Alice!" Alice once again exclaimed, "Hey! Why is everyone picking on me?" B blew Alice a kiss and said, "Because we love ya, that’s why!"

Bette’s POV:

Our dinners came within a half hour later and all of us dug in. I had a huge salad that had tons of shrimp on it, I wasn’t sure if I could finish it! T had the shrimp scampi with a side salad and everybody else either had steaks or some kind of shrimp dish. The food was fucking delicious and we enjoyed it a lot. Both T and I stole loving glances at one another as my older sister Kit was telling stories about me when I was younger which embarrassed the fuck out of me, but that is Kit for you! After the meal was over when nobody could eat anymore, it was time for the presents. I couldn’t believe how giving everybody was with us; it was very thoughtful and sweet of them to do this. Alice gave us our gifts first and said with a wink, "I think you lovebirds could use these on your honeymoon!" T and I opened our gifts and what we saw made us blush bright red making Alice grin happily. Alice said, "Show everybody what I got you two!" I giggled, "Do you think it would be appropriate to show everybody, especially to Christopher and Linda?" Christopher said, "Don’t worry about it, it can’t be that inappropriate!" T and I showed what Al got us and both of us got really skimpy black lace lingerie that had cut off at the crotch. Everyone’s eyes were bugged out of its sockets and Alice was very happy by their reaction. Linda eventually broke the silence and said, "Alice, has good taste!"
