Suddenly acutely aware of Tina’s situation, Bette hesitated.
“Tina?”
“Ssssh,” responded Tina, bringing a single finger up to rest against Bette’s lips, “I want to, Bette. I want to so much.” She leaned into Bette again to reassure her with another kiss, and she took hold of Bette’s hands and put them where they both wanted them to be.

How many people’s dreams never become reality?
How many people pine for the love of their life but never find it? Her?
Too many.
And yet, they’d done it. They both knew how unbelievable it was that they had found each other, how lucky they were that fate had brought them together and how utterly amazing it was that they were holding each other, touching each other, feeling each other – if only for this one brief shining moment.
With Bette’s hands still on her, Tina lowered herself onto the bed. Bette followed, her hands remaining in place, unwilling – unable – to relinquish the precious physical contact she had with the beautiful blonde who had captured her heart before she‘d even looked at her. Under gentle pressure from Bette, Tina fell back, her fair hair splaying out on the duvet. She pulled Bette into her, wrapped her arms around her, and looped her legs over her, gathering her in. Tina’s hands pressed on her back, wanting Bette to dissolve into her, to become her. She loved taking Bette’s adorable weight on her, the reassuring, comforting feeling of Bette’s strong body resting on hers. It was everything Tina had hoped for, longed for. And more. Inexpressible.
Bette rested her elbows on the bed on either side of Tina’s head and buried her fingers in Tina’s hair. They lay like that, quiet, motionless…and just looked at each other. Until now, they’d had to rely on their words to be the windows to their souls. Now, and as it should be, they let their eyes do the talking. And every single word they’d ever written to each other was spoken in an instant. If this was the stuff of fairy tales, the hands on the clock next to the bed would have stayed in place – by rights, such a perfect moment should have been frozen in time…

This is “G” rated? Not that I mind but I think it’s at least a “PG-13”. :-) You capture their passion and exhilirating love for each other.

I love the sweetness of this wonderful story! I can’t wait for the afterglow of their first time. And the decisions that will have to be made in order for them to be together. Please don’t break our hearts!
Wonderful and sweet. Bette is being very careful and loving towards Tina since this is her first time with a woman and Tina just wants her to get on with it. Bette is doing the right thing by taking it slowly. I just hate to see them get together when Tina is still married. But their love won’t wait. Love the story. Thanks for posting. PPS
