    Madrid is a city that’s sprung a leak! I’ve never seen so many fountains every where and so huge! No one would ever think about building anything as fantastic in North Carolina and Virginia where I grew up. And they are the sorrier for it, too. The beating sounds of one of them was so present and unusual for me when we checked into our hotel room the first afternoon I wasn’t sure I liked it. I wondered, too, could I fall asleep to its incessant raining? But as we’d unpacked and Bette had thrown open the windows to see its glory better I realized the tremendous honking and traffic sounds its persistent waterfall was masking. And the night after the bullfights? I was grateful for its furious rain for other reasons.

    What Alice is dying to know and what I’ll never tell her is how different in bed Bette probably is with me. A perfect example, and she’d buy me coffee for a year to hear it, would be my description of a certain naked matadora dance, misted by occasional escaping fountain sprays, as we closed in on each other and remembered all of the steps.

    I feel her in my arms suddenly at the traffic light as if she found me just for a moment to send a message.  I close my eyes. The car behind me honks. The light is green. I drive past Hancock Park. The luring moves of the matadora come back to me.

But what gets lost in all the clumsy descriptions of sexual magnetism is how gentle and loving she can be. Yes, to fierce sometimes when she’s fucking, a check goes next to hard and long if that’s what we’re in the mood for, but under it all, or should I say at the beginning and at the end of all of it, when we hold each other there’s undeniably a sweetness in the love she feels.

I felt I was in the arena shouting…”Ole”!…your descriptions are excellent; could picture Bette in her fabulous matador jacket……priceless. What else will this gypsy reveal to Tina?     7. Well, my friend, once again the words danced across the page and came together perfectly. I loved Madrid and the images of the dance that appeared in my head. SO sensuous and what a sight to behold with Tina and Bette. I love the gypsy and her ways of being in the world. She knows a form of Bette very well and her questioning of Tina was poignant and timely. You left the scene in a perfect spot… with a possibility at one time but would it be true now?
      The gypsy has more to discover as does Tina….
      And then there’s Bette and the direction she takes….

      Superb BB, superb. You did well!

    8. It was an amazingly well-written chapter again. I liked the image of Bette as a matador, It was really invigorating imagination :P
      I loved the way the Gypsy characterized by Bette’s personality, it was so true.
      what we’d expect a fortune teller if she does not have the right, ask us? -but I think the gypsy found exactly the point.
      Tina finally reveal the past, which is always a dark shadow placed her.
      I love it! :)
      I look forward to the next chapter! ;)

    10. Tina sister is a sick prick for taking advantage of her lil sister, molestation is never ok and its sickening and all should be punish no exception ugh!!!
