    The Gathering 01.21 – After Thought

     

                Alice was sitting in the cool night air.  They were at Dana‘s house having just made love, but Alice couldn’t sleep.  She’d been raw with emotion when they’d gotten to Dana‘s, having attacked Dana with fieriness that she’d never known before.  She had too much on her mind, Bette, Tina, Shane, Sam, Dana, Tonya, her current assignment.  It was all a jumble of emotions.  She turned and looked back at Dana as she slumbered. 

     

                Dana looked so much at peace her hair a tangled mess from their mutual thrashing around in bed.  Her lips full were opened a bit her skin perfect in the mingling candlelight and moonlight.  Alice stood at the door, sipping on a bottle of water.  It was hard to believe that only a few months ago Dana was just her friend, that her soul mate had been sitting next to her everyday at the Planet and she hadn’t known it.  It had taken the thought of losing her to make her realize that she’d been lusting after her all of this time.

     

                She thought of Shane and Sam; and how much they’d been through in the short time that they’d known each other.  Relationships like that were destine to explode or implode.  Sam was a passionate woman as was Shane but she was laid back in her manner.  Alice sighed watching as Dana turned onto her stomach and searched for her in the bed, the movement made Alice‘s heart flutter. 

     

                “Al?”  Came the sleepy voice of her love, her friend.  Her Dana.

               

                “Dane, go back to sleep…”  Alice coed from her spot and Dana hitched herself up onto her elbow, regarding Alice in the moonlight.  She was flooded with thoughts of Alice; the image was burned into her mind of her standing timidly at her door and kissing her in the same moonlight.

     

                “I missed you.”  She pouted, patting the bed and Alice walked to it.  Sitting on the edge her demeanor speaking volumes to Dana.  “Are you ok?”  Asked Dana fully awake now as she looked at Alice‘s face.

     

                “Just thinking about that little dance contest you know.  I just don’t understand what is going on with anyone anymore.  One minute it’s perfect and the next thing you know, everyone is changing dance partners.”  Dana nodded, having done things like that before.  Letting loose and not caring what the world thought.

Please, stop being reactive. Just to ruffle a few feathers, I think in the one dimensional world of beauty and passion, Bette would win this contest hands down. But, when you add love and guilt, I don’t know.

DAMN DAMN DAMN!!! i dont know man. one minute i love you the next minute i hate(ok maybe not hate, but a strong dislike..lol jk) you but i for damn sure cant stop reading..so i guess thats the most important part huh? lol anyway please dont PHUNK wit my heart(all credit going to the black eyed peas) lady..i mean really, as much as i LOVE Tibette i cant even be mad that you would make Sam Tina’s new buddy cuz i like Sam so much..argghh..wat is a girl to do???

She and Shane have something strong and confusion in their relationship ( I forgot how to write it ) could it be love?! with some thing else – I dont know!! But I can see Sam and Tina etheir!!! That works.Bette and Shane no way I’d rather see Shane with Lara. But you put Shane and Dana togheter in your previos post… So I have to expect anything … Hurgh!!Tim with a man ?? NO WAY…I’m really enjoying this post! Post soon!!And give more space to Lara!
