“Lil sis?”  SamShane about her discovery of
she and Brian being siblings, but hadn’t said
anything to anyone else.
grunted she’d told

            “It’s a long story.  ***** for tat?” 
SamLara‘s
quid pro quo from her last photo assignment. 
said using

            “Ok.  You ask me first.”  Dana
said, and Sam led her to the flower garden, as
they walked SamDana.  thought about what to ask

            “Biggest relationship
fear?”  SamDana, Sam
held her finger in the shutter button and let off a few quick snaps.
asked, getting a thoughtful look from

            “That I’m in the wrong
one.  I know that I’m not, but I have
been before, so it’s still something that is there you know?  I was with Lara
and I’m the one that messed that up royally. 
I can still be friends with her and she’s amazing for that.  Then there is my best friend, Alice.  My love. 
It’s like they did a flip flop in my life.  Lover to friend and friend to lover.  Your turn?” 
Dana shrugged; then grinned at the
thought of Alice.

            “Brian
is my brother.  I was adopted.  When I went to Pittsburgh
a few months back to convince him to come back to VanGuard, he found out his
kid was sick, with the same thing that C.J.
had.  I was in the national donor data
base and a few days later I got a call that I was a potential donor.  For Gus
Brian‘s kid.”  A pure look of astonishment exploded over Dana‘s
face.

            Sam
clicked the shutter again, capturing the moment for eternity.

            “Holy *****!”  DanaSam burst out laughing, then she
said, thinking quickly wanting to keep Dana off
guard.
exclaimed and

            “Tell me about your
funniest moment playing tennis?”  Dana
began to talk, forgetting that Sam was taking
photo after photo of her she laughed and started moving her hands left and
right.  She told stories, she revealed
about herself, and Sam  caught it all on
film.

            Alice
strummed her guitar; she’d taken it out of the closet a few hours before.  A yearning somewhere inside of her had
implored her to seek it out and dust it off. 
To tighten the strings and strum out a song.  She felt her fingers cramping already, then
she started to play a song she’d heard years before.
