“Well—what about you two? Anything new going on with you guys?” Helena looked at Bette and Tina.
“Bette set us an appointment with a therapist today.” Tina smiled mockingly.
Shane sat up. “Why? I thought you guys were doing fine.”
“We’re not doing fine, we’ve been fighting constantly. I’m sick of the same shit everyday.”
“I’m sorry if I seem bored with my life right now.”
“You’re bored? So are you telling me that you’re bored with me? Is that what you’re saying?”
“Guys—please not now.” Shane replied. “Lets have a great morning alright.”
“Good morning ladies,” the girls saw Jenny. They all said hello as she sat down. Dana looked at Jenny.
“Where’s Max?”
Jenny shook her head. “I don’t know. He left last night.”
“Who’s Max?” Chantal looked at them.
“Noone important,” Jenny waved it off. “I kicked him out last night because things weren’t working out. I couldn’t take it anymore.”
“So he packed his things up and went on his way?” Jenny looked at Shane and nodded.
“Yeah—basically.” Alice’s eyes got wide as she looked at the magazine.
“Hey you guys, listen to this,” the girls put their attention to Alice. “The world’s greatest DJ is returning to the US this weekend to throw a party for Pink and Carey Hart’s first anniversary at the Level 3 Nightclub. Her name is Carmen de la Pica Morales. Her career skyrocketed as she hit the European nightlife as DJ Latina. She has been linked to Jenna Jameson, Enrique Igelsias and Electronica singer Peaches. Her current relationship is now with the British supermodel Janelle Richardson, but Morales tells the press that her and Richardson are just friends. If you want to see DJ Latina spin the ones and twos this weekend, get your tickets now!” Shane leaned back in her chair and rubbed her forehead. Alice sat the magazine down and nodded. “Wow, Miss Carmen has done a lot in the last six months.”
“Well congrats to her,” Dana smiled.
“I’m happy for her,” the girls looked at Shane.
Chantal looked at Shane. “…She’s the one you left at the altar.”
Shane nodded. “Yeah.” She grabbed her cup and took a drink. Jenny looked towards the door and continued to stare.
“Hey you guys, who is that?” the girls looked up and looked at the person coming in the door.
Dana squinted. “She looks like Eva Mendes.”
Shane looked and then looked away. “It’s Carmen.”

dun dun dun! My how i love the twists in this update! lol I’m so excited to see what happens next. Will she talk to shane? will shane talk to her? Wonder how Chantal feels. Who knows! Me pissed off Akira? Never that. I do think Tina is being REALLY sh*tty…she just might drive Bette into Shy’s arms (but I still would want Bette to end it first cause she can’t keep cheating.) And Bette is not a rodeo clown…Tina said she is bored it’s not up to Bette to be constant source of entertainment for her. It’s both of their jobs to keep their relationship lively. What is she doing besides being a constant downer? Please keep posting.
Tina set up an appointment with Foxworthy without telling Bette, and now she’s surprised Bette set up an appointment for them without telling her? Well at least we now know Shy isn’t just after Bette. I wonder what her problem is? Is she not getting enough at home? Still shouldn’t matter she shouldn’t be screwing around on Leigh. And OUCH to Helena being caught by Will. =O
Very good piece, I like your story. Although, I do hope that carmen’s return won’t mess things up too bad for Shane – which is what’s going to happen anyway, but ya know. Thanks for writing this :)
