    Author Notes:

    Dana hits a rough patch at home. Helena has some fun in the morning. Moira tries to reach to Jenny. Bette wants to win Tina back. Shay ask Carmen a question. Erica wants Moira.

    “I had a wonderful night—they were both amazing, and you weren’t bad either.”

    “Fuck you Jenny,” Erica went out the kitchen and slammed the back door. Moira appeared around the corner, and Jenny looked up at her.

    “What?”

    “You are a freak of nature. Why do you act the way you do?”

    “Because I know that it gets me the attention that I want.”

    “You are really going to get yourself hurt unless you changed the way you are. You’re going to lose the greatest people in your life right now—your friends. You need to watch it Jenny because you’re going to be all alone and no one to blame but yourself.”

    “What are you? My fucking mother now?”

    “No—I’m just trying to be a friend.” Moira walked away, and Jenny sighed heavily.

    “Are you sure you want to do this?” Alice looked at Dana as they sat in front of Dana’s parents’ house.

    “I have to do it sooner or later. I need to do it now.” Alice grabbed Dana’s hand.

    “I’m here if you need me.”

    “Thanks,” Dana smiled and leaned over. She got Alice a kiss and pulled away. “All right—here goes nothing.” She opened the door and got out. She walked around the SUV, and Alice got out. Dana grabbed Alice’s hand, and she sighed heavily. They both walked towards the house and made it to the steps. Dana stopped, and Alice looked at her.

    “Babe—it’s going to be okay.” Alice squeezed Dana’s hand. Dana nodded.

    “Okay—I can do this.” They walked up the steps and knocked on the door. Dana cleared her throat, and the door opened. Dana smiled softly when she saw Howie. “Hey.”

    “Hey sis,” he wrapped his arms around her and kissed her on the cheek. “Mom’s fucking furious.”

    “I know,” they pulled away, and he smiled at Alice.

    “Get over here,” Alice laughed softly and wrapped her arms around him.

    “How are ya?”

    “I’m good,” he pulled away and stepped out of the way to let them in the house. “Ladies first,” Dana took a deep breath and walked into the house. Alice walked behind her, and Howie closed the door.

    3. ACB, Interesting developments in the world of the L Word; Dana went throught the ringer with her mom but was so happy to see her dad and bro’ stood up for her. I am sure her mom will come to terms with this little scandal. Today’s news is tomoorow’s cat litter liner so all things so pass. Good to see that Helena and Sonja are enjoying one another without the influence of Dylan. Tina was sweet with Angelica but is her heart really in it. Bette is beginning to see the reality of her actions with Tina and pay the price for her casual affair. Shane is the source of all knowledge but needs to talk things out with Carmen then get her head around the parenting of Shay. That poor boy needs someone in his corner for a change and Shane can so be that person. Jenny is whacked out. That gal really messes with people. Am sure that her equal is out there and ready to battle. Good to see that Moira and Erica are going slow but not sure of Erica’s motives. Please continue real soon. Many thanks from Your Loyal Fan.

    4. ok, I’ll concede that for a second choice, sonja is pretty good. but the way you’ve written it, she’s good for a first choice as well;) poor bette…oh and i like the carmen/shane developments. they sure planted that one on the show, when jenny said she wished carmen were there to help, etc, i thought “maaaaaybe they’ll bring carmen back for season 5, blahblahblah” but i don’t tend to think those thoughts ever pan out, so i’m happy that you’re reading my mind and running with it, and writing it waaaaay better than anyone on the show could. :) pps!
