“Because it was the right thing to do, and I couldn’t lie to myself anymore about being happy. I wasn’t happy with her.” Tina shook her head. “I had to get away from that relationship. I need to start fresh, and now, I have to take care of two bodies instead of one,” everybody looked at Tina. “Shit—.”

“What are you talking about Tina?” Dana looked at Tina.

Tina sighed softly. “I’m pregnant…” there were a few smiles and a few frowns.

“How’s Bette actually taking this?” Alice turned around in her seat.

“I don’t know—when I told her, she didn’t seem too excited about the news.”

Shane spoke up. “I thought Bette would love to hear that news, since what happened last time.”

“I guess so too, but I was wrong.”

“Everything’s going to be fine Tina—it will be.” Helena grabbed Tina’s hand.

“”I’m afraid that I might have to raise this baby on my own. I don’t want that to happen.” Tina shook her head.

“Tee—none of that will happen. We’ll be here for you no matter what the circumstances are. We’ll help you.” Shane smiled at Carmen.

“Thanks you guys. I really appreciate this.” The women smiled at Tina, and the van stopped.

“All right ladies,” the driver put the van in park. “We’re here.”

“Ok ladies—let’s go have some fun.” Dana smiled.

 “I never told Tina about you and I. She wanted to take a break because she felt like our relationship wasn’t going anywhere.” Bette waded around in the pool. “I just hope that she made the right choice.”

“Bette—Tina wanted to stop the relationship before it got worse. She told you that she might be pregnant, but you didn’t take her in with open arms. Don’t you think that would have been a little odd to her? I do remember you telling me that she lost the baby before.”

“Yes, she did. I was just appalled when she told me that she went and got inseminated on her way without me.”

“She didn’t want to wait forever Bette.” Bette rolled her eyes.
