The L Word: Tina Kennard’s lost background

“And here comes the “But” part…” Bette mumbled…

“But…in the second you try to connect your mind with hers, you’re becoming easy prey. Every single sorcerer  can jump in…including…”

    Tina interrupted him…

    “…Including my mother, right?”

“Yeah…But she’s the most powerful one, so I don’t think something can stop her of messing with anyone’s mind…beside she’s bitch…”

“So there are no other options?” Tina asked, rising eyebrow.

“You asked me, I’m telling you…that’s all I know, if you don’t like it, then suites yourself…”

    Meanwhile North Caroline…

Paula stood by the large altar, covered with different items, some of them with inexplicit origin. She took a small flask with red content, and something that reminds of a bowl, purring the fluid inside. The dim light of candles illuminates the room, and the aroma of melting wax soaking the air. Paula said some ancient word and large flame erupted above the altar.

A silhouette stood in front of her, wearing black leather clothes. Paula made a bow, showing her obedience…

“My queen…”She said, her head still bent down.

“Save it…raise your head and tell me why you called me here?” the mysterious woman said, taking few steps forward.

“I…I needed your help…” Paula said

    “What for?”

“She’s…she’s stronger than I thought, I can’t handle her myself, and my most capable warrior turns a back on me…”

“You can’t handle you stubborn daughters….” The woman said, making Paula to gasp. “Shame on you…” she laughs evilly “Ok…but you now the price…”

“I know…and I’m ready to pay…” Paula said, going down on one knee…

“Your soul will be mine! Forever! Are you ready to pay this price?”

    “Yes…”

“Is this book so important to you, that you’re ready to give me your soul?”

    “Yes…”

“Fascinating…how stupid and greedy you mortals can be!” She said, disappearing in the nothing.

    Back in L.A.

“Ok Jinks, I’m ready…”Tina said, taking comfortable place on the floor.

“Good…very good. Now focus, I want you to direct your thoughts to Victoria…Think about something relating you to her…”

Tina took deep breath, focusing over the only one thing still relating her to Victoria. The gold necklace Victoria gave her many years ago, but still dangling around her neck. She took it between her fingers, slightly caressing the pendant…then like on picture she saw Victoria sitting in front of big window, looking outside. She saw the room, the nice furniture, but she couldn’t see the building, or the location…nothing else. Something was blocking her away…Victoria or maybe Paula, she had no idea. Then suddenly Victoria turned her head in hers direction…
