“She’s not the only one” Bette replied with a seductive tone to her voice.

Tina didn’t need to say anything Bette could see what she was thinking it was all said though her eyes, leaning towards her she kissed Tina.

Alice walked back into the room “I’ve spoken to Kit and Shane they are on there way, but they told me to tell you to that they couldn’t be happier”

“Thanks Al”

Bette and Tina both walked back to Angie’s bed taking either side they held her hand, Alice stood at the foot of the bed making funny faces at her and making her laugh.

This was how Kit and Shane found them when they arrived at the hospital, Angie giggling at the faces and Bette and Tina laughing with Angie and at Alice.

“hi guys” both Kit and Shane said as they walked in

“oh thank god reinforcements, one of you can take over, my face is killing me” Al said

“but Al you were doing such a good job” Bette replied

“yeah well why don’t you give it a try Porter”

“I would but I’m enjoying my daughter laughing at you” Bette replied

Shane and Kit were laughing at the exchange between Bette and Alice, they walked further into the room towards the Angie.

As soon as she saw them again her face lit up and wanted a hug from them both.

“hay baby girl it’s good to see awake finally” Kit said after she had given her a kiss and a hug.

“guys I couldn’t be happier for you now that Angie is awake, you can start looking to the future” Shane said

“we have a few things to take care of first then we can” Bette said looking lovingly at Tina. Tina returned the look

“Well it’s a good job I bought this then” Kit said with a bottle of champagne in her hands

“Kit you can’t bring that in here” Al said

“Why not we’re celebrating Angie waking up”

“well putting it that way have you got glasses”

“of course they are in the bag” Kit reached into the bag that she bought with her and pulled out five plastic cups.

“someone get the door, just in case” Tina said

Shane moved quickly to the door, just before she shut it she checked that no one was about and then shut the door.  Turning around she saw that everyone was watching her.

“coast is clear”

With that Kit handed Bette the bottle “you open it little sis, it’s your family”

“Thanks Kit” Bette looked at Tina before opening the bottle and smiled.

Once she poured some into each of the cups, she then handed them around.

“to our family” Bette said

“our family” everyone repeated

Bette turned to Tina and gazed into her eye’s “I love you T”

Tina moved her head so it was closer to Bette and said “ I love you to baby” then kissed her.
