The steady beat of the music pumped through Radar as the girls sat around the table for the first time since the night that everything changed. Bettes eyes were focused constantly on Tina, whilst Tina was doing her best to avoid Bettes gaze. Dana and Shane kept sneaking glances at each other, aware that Alice was doing her best to catch them out. And Jenny just chatted away, seemingly oblivious to the tension around her.

So, anyone fancy a dance? Shane stood up, her eyes focused on Dana.

Jenny and Dana carried on with a general conversation, not quite noticing the silence of their companions. But Bette had noticed how Tina kept staring over at the bar, as if she expected Candace to be still standing there.

On the dance floor Dana approached Shane and Alice, who were giggling as they danced together.

Alice moved away to dance stupidly with Jenny as Shane placed her hands on Danas hips.
