    A B/T romantic comedy

    Even in the most casual of attires there was something commanding about the brunette’s presence and Tina couldn’t help but to feel the attraction. She was beginning to accept that it went further than just skin deep and it scared her.

    “Lead the way.” The blonde replied with a wave of her head.

     

    Bette walked inside the dining room holding Tina’s hand. It hadn’t escaped her attention the appreciative way the blonde’s eyes had ran down her body and then back up again. Bette was used to having people look at her. Sometimes it was with contempt, sometimes it was with lust, sometimes it was with envy but one thing was usually true for all of those looks, most of the times they left her unaffected, but not Tina, no. 

    Bette could use many words to describe the way Tina’s veiled glances made her feel and unaffected was certainly not one of them. When the blonde looked at her, her heart did somersaults and butterflies flew in her stomach but at the same time she felt soothed and safe. In those hazel eyes she was lost and found and that frightened her more than she could remember ever happening before.

     

    They sat down amidst their friends and endured the gentle, good naturedly teasing while they picked at their food, both of them too unsettled to enjoy it.

    If five minutes after the end of the meal someone had asked Tina what she had had for lunch she wouldn’t know.

    Bette ate slowly, chewing each small bite to complete obliteration until her plate was completely clean.

     

    “I see that most of you have already finished eating and so I’m not interrupting. Not that I would be anyway because unless you are eating through your ears you can eat and listen at the same time. Except for those of you who can’t hear but if that’s the case then you can look at Tom who is signing and once again unless you eat through your eyes you can still eat and watch Tom.”

    Janet’s voice came through the speakers more slurred than usual. Tina turned her head to regard the brunette with the microphone. She saw that she looked worn down and that the cheerfulness in her voice seemed to be produced more by alcohol than true happiness. She felt a pang of sadness for the brunette who should be having a great time and instead found herself tangled in a messy love triangle. She noticed that Bette too was watching Janet and frowning deep in thought.

Jodi needs to leave Bette the hell alone and pay attention to her soon to be wife before she loses both her ex and her future ex at the same time. She is always such a B***h she makes people fall in love with her and them precedes to walk all over them and treat them like s**t. Jodi deserves everything she gets. PPS

She can’t stand hearing about Tina’s ex-girlfriends.. so maybe she should think of that next time Jodi throws herself at her. That, or the pained look on Janet’s face at her own wedding. Hope she leaves Jodi. Ohh, can’t wait for this “talk.” Are they going to admit to the obvious attraction?

I just love the romantic comedy genre. Sliding characters we know and love into this type of story, combined with giving us a new twist on a Bette and Tina beginning. It is just plain fun. I just wish I could offer up enough help so that you could post every single day.
