"So when do you leave Dana?" Shane asked bringing her coffee to her lips.

"We’re gonna miss you," Carmen commented giving Shane a kiss on the cheek and sitting down.

"Next week," Dana said, "ever since they found that tumor in my breast when Jenny took me for that check up before her cruise I’ve been scared."

"Thank God she took you when she did or they wouldn’t have been able to get it out," Lara said.

"Yeah baby girl, after all the hospitals and meds I think you deserve a nice vacation with your girlfriend," Kit said.

"We’re gonna travel all around Europe," Lara said draping her arm around Dana’s shoulders.

"And when we get back in three months I’m gonna start training with Harrison again," Dana said.

"And you’re gonna kick some ass in that tennis tournament," Carmen cheered.

"Hey," Shane said softly, "did you tell Alice yet?"

"I did and she’s happy for us," Dana said, "I think she’s finally come to terms with everything."

"She’s been dating Tasha and she forgave Dana," Lara said. "She and I are still on thin ground."

"I’ve seen her with Tasha since she started dating her 2 months ago and she seems happy," Shane said.

"Yeah, she invited us out on a double date with them," Carmen said.

"Well I think Alice and Tasha had a connection right from the start," Kit said, "I’m glad they’re finally together."

"I’m happy for her, and our friendship is starting to return to the way it was," Dana said, "things are good right now."

"I think everyone is doing good right now," Carmen said, "Shane and I have our one year anniversary in a month and we’re gonna be taking in Shane’s little brother Shay."

"Oh yeah I can’t believe you ran into your dad after all these years," Dana said.

"Then he bolted, like always," Shane said with a sigh. "Alice sent us to that one gay rights super lawyer and she’s getting all the official adoption papers ready. Carmen and I will be Shay’s legal guardians."

"Oh I’ve heard of her, Joyce whatever-her-name-is?" Dana said.

"Yeah, she’s doing amazing," Carmen said, "I mean Shay’s mom left him at our door and then disappeared. Joyce is making sure no one can ever take Shay from us not even if Gabe comes back."
