Bette: If this is your idea of a sign then you certainly got my attention!

Bette sat in the shade, and by the time Shane and Angie came over hungry and thirsty, it was the after noon. Angie was exhausted and in need of a nap and Shane was equally exhausted.

Bette: Looked like the kids need a nap.

Shane: Shut up mom.

Angie laughed.

Shane: Angie, you didn’t hear me say that.

Bette shook her head with a smirk on her face.

Bette: Lord only knows what you’re teaching my kid when I’m not around.

Shane looked at Bette and smiled sweetly.

Shane: I’m a good auntie.. Really.

Shane then remembered the woman who had fallen.

Shane: So what’s that Titania like?

Bette: She seems amazing, have a look at this.

Bette showed Shane the bracelet.

Shane: She left it eh?

Bette: I don’t know, I think it fell off. Did Tina ever tell you how we met and what led up to our relationship?

Shane: Once.

Then the events clicked in Shane’s mind and her mouth dropped open.

Shane: Holy shit.

Bette: Exactly.

Shane: She looks a lot like Tina too.

Bette: I know. I never thought I’d say this but maybe there is a god.

Shane laughed.

Shane: Or we could be reading into this way too much.

Bette: I really don’t think so. I think that Titania left this for a reason.

Shane: Do you think it’s Tina working her magic?

Bette: Maybe. Wherever she is.

Shane for a moment thought about it. Tina was a strong willed woman, she probably would have done something because she knew Bette. And how crazy she would be without her.

Shane: Maybe.

The girls packed everything back up and walked to the car. They drove back to Bette’s place and talked the entire way. When they arrived back, Shane went back to her place to spend a little bit of time with Paige who was indeed still sleeping.
