The Triangle of Love – Chapter 19
Alice: Answer my question, Dana.
Dana: No I don’t regret it.
Alice: Tell me why.
Dana: Because we wouldn’t have happened. I would still be with someone I could never give my whole heart to.
Alice: Are you sure?
Dana: Positive. It’s just…
Alice: Just what?
Dana: I don’t know. I just feel guilty.
Alice: For what?
Dana: Using her the way I did. I shouldn’t have got myself into a relationship with someone I wasn’t sure about.
Alice: And me?
Dana: Al, I’m certain about you. I’m not going to leave you.
Alice: I know.
They laid there in silence for a few minutes.
Dana: Is Aidan still out there?
Alice: Yeah. I told him to wait on the couch.
Dana: I think he should go. The police might be looking for him.
Alice: Yeah, maybe.
Dana: Come on, we need to at least find out what happened before he goes.
Dana put Alice back in her chair and they went to the living room. Aidan was still sitting there, staring at the blank TV. He didn’t hear the couple come in, so he was a little startled when he heard his name.
Dana: Aidan?
Aidan: Oh hey. Are you ok?
Dana: Yeah. I just want to know what happened.
Aidan: Well I went to tell her I wanted nothing to do with the plan. She wasn’t happy with that, and she got angry. Luckily, we weren’t at the warehouse, so her ‘men’ weren’t there to help her.
Alice: Her men?
Aidan: Yeah, she hired 2 men to threaten me, or scare me or whatever. They’re big and muscly so they are quite intimidating, but they didn’t say anything when I saw them the first time. So, I went to her apartment. I think she was caught off guard because she let me in, but didn’t ask why I was there. I told her, and she got angry, and picked up a knife. She tried to stab me, but I avoided it and managed to grab a trophy from the mantelpiece. Before I knew what I was doing, she was on the floor in a pool of blood.
Dana: You hit her with a trophy?
Aidan: Yeah. I think it was a cooking trophy.

Good for Dana and Alice, sad for Lara.
