    A little desperation….B/T

    “I asked the doc when I would be able to leave this god-forsaken place, and he wouldn’t give me a straight answer. Has he said anything to you?”

    “Well Tina, he made the comment to me that you would be here a few more days, and then you could go home. They just want to make sure that you are okay after the head trauma…..Tina, I have something that I want to talk to you about before you leave the hospital.”

    “And what would that be?” as Tina took a bite of her cheeseburger.

    I take a look at the most beautiful woman I have ever seen, even though there are bruises that cover her face, I still see the beauty as it shines through. What has this woman done to me? Why the connection? Why do I have this feeling that I can protect her, and help her get better? Little ol’ me…I look down before I begin, “Well first, when you are released from here, I would like you to consider staying with your parents for a while. Try to get to know them better, maybe being around their home will help bring back some memories.”

    I watch as this woman leans back against the bed, and moves to the side, trying to get up. “Here.” I say as I stand and go to her side, putting her arm around my shoulder, “let me help you. Where do you want to go?”

    “In there..” she says as she points to the bathroom. She takes a step towards our destination, and suddenly gets weak…..she begins to fall, but I catch her in my arms, face to face, we are now….. “Um..” I say trying to break the contact, “take it slow, I have allll night….”

    “I was….taking it slow….” she says agitated…..

    “Sorry.” I get her to the bathroom door, and she grabs the door jam, giving herself leveredge to stand in front of the mirror…The moments turn into long minutes, as she stares at her face. “Who?…Who did this to me?” she asked through the tears. She touches all of the bruises…..I don’t want to tell her that her boyfriend did this to her, hell, I would do anything to not have to tell her about a boyfriend at all…..that would mean that she is straight. I may be a little biased, but I would like to leave that part out….I can’t though….I have to answer her questions, and be there for her…..

    1. What!!! Bette definitely needs to take Tina with her. I can figure out if Tina family is legiate or not. So she would be safer with Bette without putting her dream job in danger. Please post sooon!!

    5. Wow…that Eric is a piece of work. Tina needs Bette. Now that Tina remembers she can tell Bette everything…like who was the person Eric accused her of cheating on him with. Keep posting.

    7. OMG, this story is intriquing. I love a mystery and this story definitely has it. So Eric killed her mother and is dating Tina. What came first him dating Tina or killing her mother? Tina would definitely be safer with Bette but she does need her family close to her.

    8. That is one helluva cliffhanger. If Eric hit them that night, why is Tina still with that idiot? Maybe it was his 1st shot at trying to hurt Tina. I wonder why Tina doesn’t want to be with her family. Bette and Tina need to find a way for them to live together without anyone being suspicious or finding out. I hope u post soon.
