At this point Jenny has stopped flailing and is now observing the exchange between Bette and Shane, slightly amused at Bette’s annoyance.  She is still as high as a kite and decides to chime in, “Come on in, Bette the water’s fiiiiine.  You said we could swim her anytime right?  Riiiiight?  Hmm hmm.”  She ends her statement in a slight giggle, bloodshot eyes revealing a bit of mischief.

“Wait what is this about Adele?  Jenny you got fired from the movie?  What the hell?”  Bette stood there still trying to figure it all out, when Tina walks out.

“Bette I didn’t think to tell you until now, but yes that is what happened on set today.  Well actually when I left you a voicemail earlier today I was going to tell you, but things were so crazy and then when we got home… well, you know…” Tina tried to explain.  She saw the quizzical look on Bette’s face and continued, “Adele got ahold of this raunchy sex tape of Niki and Jenny and used it to blackmail her way into the director’s chair.  I had to escort Jenny off the set but not before she got Shane to leave with her, and not before she begged Niki to leave, too.”  Turning to Jenny, “Jenny I am so sorry all this happened but remember what I said earlier today – don’t do anything rash..”

“Like get high off your gourd and splash around in my pool at an ungodly hour,” Bette interjected.

“Well, yeah, but I meant something more extreme,”  Tina finished.  “Do you want to talk about it?  Sometimes that really helps.”

“What is there to talk about?” Jenny quipped.  “Adele, that fucking vagina wig, has completely fucked me over.  I mean totally and completely.”

Shane finally spoke up, “Maybe it would be good to process all of this, Jenny.  Bette and Tina are both very good listeners, at least they have been for me over the years.”  Shane looked up at Bette and Tina with pleading eyes.

Suddenly looking to Tina, Bette asks “Is Angie?”

“She’s fine, babe.  Sound asleep.  Come on it would be good to process some of this stuff,”  Tina says, stretching out her hand for Bette to grab.  Bette takes her hand and they walk to sit on a lounge chair beside one another near the edge of the pool.  They talk with Jenny and Shane for the next two hours over the events of the day and possible courses of action for Jenny.
