“I know. I kind of like it if you don’t mind. Tabitha or Tina ‘T’ works either way.” Bette grinned. Not sure if it was coincidence or perhaps kismet but she was pleased that she didn’t have to give up her pet name for the woman she’d fallen in love with.

“Yeah I guess it does.” Tina responded still getting used to the idea that she now knew her own name.

“I have a consultation scheduled in a few minutes so I’ll see you later for dinner OK? Emma will take care of you. If you feel any after effects or if you have any questions let us know as soon as possible OK?”

“OK. Thank you Bette.”

“You’re welcome sweetie. I’ll see you later.” Bette didn’t want to leave Tina’s side but she did have a new patient waiting. She was already having separation anxiety and wasn’t managing it well. With this new development Tina would soon be released from Dr. Emma’s care and able to leave the clinic with a clean bill of health.

Bette and Emma walked out together leaving Tina to her thoughts. They were relieved that the hypnosis went so well. It seemed Tina’s recollection of her identity didn’t cause any undue distress. Emma called Joyce as soon as she got to her office to give her the good report.

Tina lay alone in the quiet darkened room for an hour orienting herself to the knowledge of her true identity. While she was under hypnosis she remembered everything about her life including her marriage to Jodi Lerner and her friendship with Kelly and Matthew Wentworth. She knew she was Tina Kennard. She knew she was from Los Angeles. She knew she was the CEO of Kennard Incorporated and the millionaire heiress to the Kennard fortune. She even remembered how she looked before the accident … but was it an accident? That was the only unanswered question in her mind.
As she lay there she had a clear vision of being on the river in the boat with Jodi and Kelly. Just like in her sketch they were enjoying the beautiful scenery and the sunset. She was taking pictures. She stood up to get a better shot then she focused on the crocodile coming towards the boat through the camera lens. The artiste in her took over and all she was thinking was what a great photograph it was going to make, not yet sensing the danger.
