Tina believed the doctor and she really wasn’t upset knowing that they were only trying to protect her. “I’m not upset doc. You’re the professionals and I have to trust your methods. Did you reach Joyce?”

“Yes. I have a phone number where you can call her. She’s waiting to hear from you but let’s talk a bit first about what you experienced under hypnosis OK?”

“Fine.” Tina answered settling back into the chair.

“You said you remember everything about yourself and your life so you know the other women that you sketched?”

“Yes. My wife is Jodi Lerner. She’s an artist. The other woman is Kelly Wentworth. She is my best friend. We’ve known each other since childhood. She’s married to another dear friend Matthew Wentworth.”

“When you remembered Jodi and Kelly did you still have the bad feelings?”

“They were the two people that I loved most in the world but now I don’t feel much of anything for them.” Tina answered honestly.

“How much do you remember about the accident?” Emma probed seeing how far she could take this.

“Not much more than what I envisioned before, except I do remember seeing the crocodile in the water and taking pictures of it, then Jodi stood up and the boat rocked. I let the camera drop from my hands to hold on to her for balance and then everything goes black. When I was lying in there I saw my disfigured face reflected in well-water from the time I was with Dave. It scared me for a moment that I still looked like that. I had to look in the mirror to make sure.”

“Tina you’ve made a remarkable recovery from just the one session and you seem to be handling it all very well. Any lingering effects; any fears? Any feelings that you can’t handle? I want you to talk to me about them. Please don’t hold back. We are at a critical stage.”

“There’s nothing. I promise.” Tina answered with conviction and Emma believed her.

“OK. Remember when I talked to you about the Forensic Hypnotist, Dr. Angus Partridge? I’d like to schedule a consultation with him as soon as possible. I thought if you are up to it you and I could fly to Queensland in a few days to see him. Joyce can meet us there. If all goes well I can release you into her care. She’s staying at Eden for the time being. Do you have recollection of Eden? It’s the estate that you sketched.”
