Bette smiled; she remembered how she was so sick worried about Tina when one of her officemates told her that Tina decided to stay in Alphaville to finish a deadline. She was quite mad at the blonde for being so stubborn but she was more worried than mad and when she saw Tina sitting alone in the dark corner of the lobby her heart melted and erased all the anger that she felt inside.

“That moment when you held me in your arms I’ve never felt so loved and cherished in my entire life”

It was one of the most memorable moments of them as a couple because the following day after the storm she brought Tina to her house and they made love all day and all night and then asked Tina to move in with her.

“Yeah well that was a long time ago…”

The brunette turned to her daughter and gave Angelica a kiss and as she bent down Tina smelt the delicious scent of the brunette’s hair, something that she loved to smell first before going to sleep. In that very moment she hoped Bette would kiss her too

“Goodnight Tina…”

“Goodnight Bette…”

The brunette turned to the other side so her back was now facing Tina and Angelica and just looked at the flickering light of the candles. Random thoughts were now running inside her head and she knew she couldn’t sleep not only because of the snowstorm … not because of the power outage… but because the woman she loved the most was now laying in the same bed, well the same mattress… Tina was just laying a few inches away from her

“Bette…”

Her heart skipped a beat when heard those words

“Turn around”

With her heart pounding against her chest she slowly obliged to the blonde’s command

“I know I’ve hurt you and humiliated you…”

Bette closed her eyes, she wasn’t sure if she was ready with this kind of talk, she wasn’t ready if she was ready to hear what Tina had to say

“Tina please what happened, happened and there’s nothing else that we could do to change it. You’re happy with Henry and I’m happy with my life so let’s just leave it as that”
