Trial and Error Ch. 4
By being a girl, you had way more problems to deal with than boys.
"FUUUUUUUUUCK!!!!" Alice yelled as she clutched her stomach.
The gang (Bette, Alice, Dana, Jenny, and Shane) were gathered around their usual circle table at lunch, in the back corner of the cafeteria, eating the wonderful food the school has provided them. Their current entertainment for today’s meal were Alice’s screams of agony.
Alice was expereincing the worst cramps of the century. She felt like someone had stabbed her uterus and it created a black hole that sucked up her insides, causing great pain.
Dana looked at Alice symapthetically, hoping she would feel better. She ran her hand up and down her back trying to soothe her.
Bette, Shane, and Jenny glanced at each other with knowing looks. Dana obviously liked Alice. She would greet her during the holidays, ever ones that weren’t celebrated by many people like President’s Day just because it gave her a reason to buy something for her. In P.E., Dana would always end up doing most of the work when Alice was on her team and would let Alice win when they were opponents. She was beyond sprung.
"Alice, how do you feel at this very moment?" Bette used her unpeeled banana as a microphone and held it up to Alice’s contorted face. Shane and Jenny looked at faraway objects to hide their grins.
"Don’t make me shove that banana up your ass Porter!"
"Interesting…very interesting," Bette said. She was having fun. Alice and her had been friends ever since their parents enrolled them to gay ballroom dancing when they were nine. They ended up being partners in every lesson. When you are friends with someone for that long, you can’t help but laugh when they are in pain.
On the stage in the front of the cafeteria, Tina and her group of "friends" were eating the pizza that Hudson cleverly got delivered at the school’s main office. He was able to pick it up before any of the administrator’s would catch him.
Their spot in the cafeteria had the best view. When you were even sitting down, you could see every person’s face. It was the perfect stalker hangout.
Candace was on her second piece of pepperoni pizza as Tina looked at her with her eyebrows raised. Candace was a cheerleader and keeping in shape was a must. Tina may not have been head captain but she sure acted like she owned each and every one of them. Candace dropped the piece back into the cardboard box and shut it, silently grieving for her loss of food.

Wow, first to post. I love this story. You write high school drama wonderfully and truthfully, unfortunately. I work in one and the students are aloud to do as they please most of the time. Like I said, unfortunatly. But don’t let that stop you, please post soon.
Thx for the shout out-I smile-your High School sounds like chaos but fun. Aha, Bette has feelings for Tina. What drama will this produce??? T’s parents might wish they never shifted or that B became T’s tutor. I look 4ward to it all.
Dana/Al cute .. I bet Bette will have a thing for one blonde in particular
Can hardly wait to see what happens next. Great chapter.
