Trouble in designer suits Ch.24
Previously:-
——Bette—–
You know in films when people are waiting at the airport with signs to surprise people well as I walked past the biggest sign in the crowd caught my eye.
Porter & Summers did you really think we would let you leave us behind?
I stopped dead causing the others to walk into me, as all I could do was point.
This was what Peggy had been planning and where her jet had been, stood before us was the rest of our family. Dana, Alice, Shane, Carmen, all the kids, Jenny and Kit all waiting for us and before long laughing at the latest trouble Andy and I had managed to cause.
———-Andy——–
I hugged Peggy thanking her for what she had done. I knew this trip would be tough but with all of them here I was sure I could face anything, even the extreme humiliation of having to hear the story of our romantic endeavours on the flight being re told again and again.
With my family around me and Rachel’s loving arm around my waist I stepped out into the London air and wished immediately I had bought an umbrella.
The Savoy Hotel; London.
——Karen——
We were all sat in Peggy’s suite. She was on her own but of course she had the biggest and best the hotel had to offer and so it was in her suite that we met.
It was four pm and everyone had literally dropped their luggage and then come to meet up here. The group was occupying five suites as well as the one Peggy was in. of course there was one for the Piezeki-Fairbanks clan, one for Carmen and Shane and their kids, Bette, Tina and co. in another, Jenny and Kit were sharing and then lastly Rachel and Andy were sharing with Libby. Each suite had two bedrooms and a living area. Apart that is from Peggy’s master suite, which was like a huge self-contained condo within the hotel.
It was amazing to watch them all together. They really were like a huge family that had known each other forever. Andy seemed really content just to be around them, there was a calm and peace about her that I had not seen before, not even when we were at university together. I loved seeing her this way, letting others look after her and being happy to allow them too do so. Not feeling somehow inadequate for not being in total control of the whole situation.

This was 2 funny. You have to post again this evening.
Way too funny, really enjoy reading this..thanks!!!
Damn that was so funny and so hot, love it. Post soon tonight please, thanks!
Now that is what I call lucky… yezz that was great. I wonder what will happen with Bette. Post soon.
Now my reaction to be asking if I’d been to the Tate Modern certainly wasn’t the same as Andy’s, but then again I’m not a modern art type and wasn’t in the same situation as Andy when asked the question, lol. You just have to love these guys, Bette and Tina, Andy and Rachel, they’re made for each other. Two sides of the same coin with the same wicked sense of humour. I have to pass the Savoy Hotel on my way home from class and if I burst out laughing on the bus when I do because I remember their dinner antics I’m gonna completely blame you. Great chapter, made me laugh and has been my distraction for the night. I need to get back to my essay and you need to get back to writing the next chapter! PLEASE!!! =) Let’s see what these guys can get up to next.
That was hilarious! I love that Bette & Tina have they’re new buddies to plot with. :) I’m still giggling over the ‘Fuck yeah!’ response…too funny.
I hope you plan on showing us Bette getting hers from Tina.
That was funny and Rachel and Tina are so bad. Tina will have to pay for this in spades. Fun. Thanks for the post.
that was just so funny I love it this just gets better and better please post soon
