Chapter 28

Tina finally closed the distance between them and just stood right into Bette’s personal space, staring intensely into the brunette’s eyes. The blonde took the edge of the agent’s shirt with her right hand but she didn’t tugged at it, instead she fully grabbed it and closed her fist as she slightly pulled from it, as if by doing so she could convey how much she actually needed the closeness between them. Bette immediately got the message and gently closed the breach that separated their lips.

This kiss didn’t resemble the ones they had shared the previous night. No. This time there was an extra element of desire and need that, although it may had been implicit before, it was expressing itself in full force this time. Eventually they had to come out for air.

“Mmmhh” Bette just muttered as her eyes were still closed and her forehead rested against Tina’s.

“Yeah” Tina said evidently breathless too and yet she went for those lips again, definitely taking up a notch the heat between them.

“You see that was… that was criminal” Bette said feeling really weak in the knees, as she again rested her forehead against the blonde’s.

“Then arrest me” Tina said also out of breath.

“I am seriously considering that at the moment” Bette playfully said to the blonde just sweetly smiled.

“I just… I wanted to do this all day” Tina finally confessed with both her arms resting on the agent’s shoulders as she could feel those strong arms gently resting around her waist. “Especially after how you teased me on that playfield… that was so unfair…” The lawyer half complaint for a part of her had actually enjoyed it. “Remind me to make you pay for that later?”

“I shall” Bette replied smiling.

“Maybe we should go for a walk?” Tina said understanding that if she didn’t stop what she was doing this could turn into something she didn’t know she was ready for, and even if she was it was not the time or place for it.
