At the Planet – Fundraiser Friday

Tina hid her surprise when Alice announced the winner to be Bette. She didnt know how Bette was feeling about this whole auction thing. She was happy that Bette won the bid but apprehensive as what to expect. She wants so much for Bette to approve of the effort the gang put in. She gave a little speech and thank everyone for their generosity. With the formalities taken care of, she went in search of Alice and Bette.

Tina was getting nervous. She knew Bette has been supportive of the fundraising ideas for Dream House but shes not sure how this auction thing will affect her. Who told her about it?

She saw Bette excuse herself from Alice. Walking towards Kit. Who is the DJ for tonight. Giving her a kiss and then whispering into her ears. As if explaining something important to her. Kit said OK, with thumbs up. Bette then walked and join Alice again.

Alice and Bette were both smiling and talking. She doesnt look angry or upset she seems happy. Oh good. Its going to be fun then.

Bette saw Tina walking towards them. God, shes beautiful damn beautiful. She couldnt take her eyes off her. Mesmerised for a moment.
Bette greeted Tina with a kiss and said Hi gorgeous!

T: Hi Baby. Im surprise youre here.
B: Yes, me too. But Im glad I came. I would have missed all the fun. (she teased)

Al: Well, were done. Miss Porter, meet Miss Kennard. Shes your dance and dinner partner for tonight. After your dance, the chauffeur, a Miss Dana Fairbanks will drive you to the secret location for your late night dinner. At 11.45 p.m. the driver will come and pick both of you and sent you back here. You must return Miss Kennard by midnight unless Miss Kennard agrees to extend that. In the event she agrees, then you may negotiate the terms and conditions with her. (winking at Tina). But remember, you must informed us of any changes or else at 12.01 we will be calling the cops and sending out a search party. (Tina and Bette laughed). Thank you for your support Miss Porter. Have fun.
Alice left both of them alone.

B: (reaching out her hand to offer it to Tina) Miss Kennard, it is such a pleasure meeting you. May I have this dance with you.

T: (playing along) Of course, Miss Porter. The pleasure is all mine.

Bette held Tinas right hand with her left hand. She caress it gently, and then gave it a kiss. She then placed her right hand on Tinas back. Tina followed by putting her other hand on Bette. Bette look into Tinas eyes and whispered Baby this is for you.

As if on cue, the music started. Rod Stewarts voice came on

Bette looking deep into Tina eyes with love and she started singing along softly

There were cheers everywhere. The crowd clapping and whistling and cheering them on. Bette and Tinas eyes were locked on each other.

Tina: (had tears in her eyes) baby, I love you too.

B pulled Tina closer and then she kissed her softly Tina felt her knees giving way. Bette held on tighter. She has never felt this good for such a long time. They move slowly, enjoying the closeness, their bodies moving against each other, felt so good.

B: T, Ive missed you my heart and body ached for you. Im so glad I came tonight. I want to hold you like this forever.

While they were dancing, Alice grabbed Shane and Dana and pulled them to Marinas office.

Al: Shane, what have you done! (Punching Shane and then she squeel) oh That was brilliant. Why didnt I think of it first. Im so glad you told Bette. (They all laughed)

Al: you guys realized that we have to execute Plan B, dont you?

Shane & Dane: Plan B? Whats Plan B?

Al: I dont know but we have to think of something fast. Cant let this opportunity slip away. Come on . think romance think foreplay and think ***** .

Dane: Alice! But this is not supposed to be romantic and *****. Thats the rules in the contract.

Al: It was not supposed to be but the rules have just changed. We never expected Bette so this is different OK.

Shane: I think we should just give Tina the keys and let her drive Bette there. This way, they can stay as long as they like and they can do what they like after the dinner. (raising her eyebrows and smile)

Dana: Thats a great idea. (happy that she doesnt have to dress-up as the chauffeur.) Id rather hang out here with you guys.

Al: Oh .. Oh.. what about the settings we have to make it really romantic. O, we need candles lots of candles and a bottle of wine or something. Lets call Katie and tell her that we need to create a romantic atmosphere.

Al: Shane, you do that. Go on your knees and beg if you have to. But hurry up. And tell her shes to take the rest of the night off – its an order. In fact, tell her to get everybody out of there. And no interruptions Absolutely no interruptions. Get some of nice wine for them too.

The gang went about executing Plan B. Making calls. Running around getting things ready. Adding a few extra touch here and there. They wanted the night to be extra special.

When the song ended, there were more cheers and clapping and whistling.
Dana approach the couple. B & T knew it was time for dinner. They held hands and walk out.

Dana: Sorry guys, I mean Miss Porter and Miss Kennard. There is a slight change of plans. I have a terrible headache (faking a pain look – not very good at it, looking sheepish) and I dont think I can drive you there. Tina, is it OK if you drive. Here are the keys to my car. Handing Tina the keys.

Tina look suspiciously at Dana. They are up to something, I can feel it. Ill kill Alice if she mess this up.

T: Its ok. Ill use my car. Hope you feel better Dana, I mean Miss Fairbanks. See you back here at 12.

Dana look at her as if to say Yeah sure. At the rate you guys are going, well be lucky to see you again. But she said OK. Have fun both of you.
