The sleepy response came after a few seconds, "You want to go again? Bette Porter, you are insatiable!"
"Trust me sweetie, you don’t know the half of it…. But right now…. Alice is at the door and she is about to attract some really unwarranted attention if we don’t open the door to her as soon as possible."
Tina stood and rushed around to retrieve her discarded clothes, putting them on haphazardly and picking Bette’s up and throwing them back at her, all the while shouting loudly across the room that she was on her way to open the door.
"Finally!" Alice said exasperated at having been left hanging outside for all this time. "What were you guys doing that took you so long to open the door…. FYI, your t-shirt is on back to front and inside out, Tina!"
As per her usual demeanour the eccentric blonde strolled in without waiting to be invited.
She glanced around. It took a few seconds for her brain to process the series of images which greeted her as she entered Bette’s house.
Tina dressed inside out and a very naked Bette on the sofa hidden only partially by a light blanket.
As realisation set in, her face went from exasperation to confusion and right now, Bette and Tina were about to witness the biggest jaw drop in history.
Bracing themselves for another round of excited shrills, all they saw was a hand shooting up and a finger pointing insistingly between the new lovers.
"But… but ….. but you said….."
"I know what we said, Alice…" Bette started eerily calm. "But, you got us thinking and talking with your …. uhhh… rant ….. this morning."
Tina closed the front door and returned to Bette’s side. Taking the brunette’s hand in hers she added, "I guess, you kind of helped things along a little bit.."
Alice tried as hard as she could to suppress the grin which threatened to invade her features. She was clearly happy for her friends but needed to retain a certain front.
Straightening herself up, she stoically announced, "I am always right, without me you two would never have happened. Let that be a lesson for all."
And with that the quirky would-be matchmaker walked out of the house not without demanding that the couch be dry-cleaned before her next visit.
As soon as the door slammed behind their visitor, Tina turned to Bette, "You know she is going to claim this as an ultimate victory."
"Let her think what she wants, " Bette giggled, "As long as I get to reap the spoils."
And with those last words, she pulled Tina back down onto her to stake her first claim of the evening.

That was most enjoyable. Glad that Tina was there to help Bette in her healing and then “with a little help from their friend”, Alice, they enjoyed some “sexual healing”. I so throughly enjoyed this one.

Kins! :-) When I read your AN about the delay of chapter 21, I was a bit disappointed, well … but then I was and am sure that your writing, your story will be something good to read and boy once I read 1st page I was so absorb till I reach page 10 and started to worry that the story was nearer to the end! :-p and what a sweet and lovely story :-) and no matter how annoying Alice, you make me kinda wish maybe it’s worth to have that kind of friend IF she will bring the love of my life to the step of my door :-p LOL… :-D thanks for another great story Kins! :-) I hope I can read chapter 21 before I left my little island for holiday, where I wont have internet connection there for 24/7 … I am sure once I got connection and time there’ll be a lot to catch up btw ;-)

Absolutely wonderful story! C’est ce qui s’appelle un defi releve avec talent, classe et upper elegance!!!… Love Alice’s little push, but something tells me it was just a matter of (little) time before our girls figured things out by themselves… Oh, and I’m seriously concerned about Bette’s scar but I am sure Tina “took care” of her in the most cautious way… Although I’m quite convinced that Bette wouldn’t have minded another peritonisis against a few hours of Tina’s “special care”… I love Tibette beginnings, but I must admit that I also like this from-best-friends-to-lovers thing very much! And you, Kins, did it with perfection (but why am I even surprised?) !!! Thanks for taking the challenge, I don’t mind waiting a bit more for chapter 21 if it means great stand-alones like this one!!
