Bette walked into the bedroom that Tina and her shared.

Bette: What the ***** is going on?

Tina and Shane both woke up. SHane had no idea where she was until she felt the arm that was wrapped around her waist.

Tina: Bette please just meet me out in the living room and I can explain everything.

Bette left the room.

Tina leaned over and put her hand on Shane’s shoulder.

Tina: Stay in here as long as you need okay?

Shane nodded and with that Tina left.

When Tina entered the living room Bette stood up from the couch.

Tina: I didn’t cheat on you.

Bette: I know.

Tina: What do you mean you know?

Bette: I know that you would never do anything to ***** up a relationship that we just got back. You’re not stupid and neither am I so I’m not going to assume anything.

Tina: It was just a really bad day for her. I don’t know where we are going to go from here.

Bette: Did something go wrong at the center?

Tine: We never made it to the center. We left the Planet and Shane took off running. When I finally caught up with her she was hysterical. She was talking about not wanting to relive her past and not wanting to do what she use to do.

Bette: Let me go talk to her. Maybe I can help.

Bette went to the bedroom and saw that Shane was putting her pants on.

Bette: You heard everything?

Shane nodded.

Bette: Is there anything I can do for you? I want to be able to help you.

Shane shook her head. She got up and walked past Bette and out the bedroom door. She walked into the living room and out the front door as well.

Bette had followed Shane out of the bedroom. Tina and Bette exchanged glances.

Tina: What do we do?

Bette: I don’t know. I guess we follow her.

Tina and Bette exited there house and what they saw scared them. Shane was standing in the middle of the street with a car coming towards her and it didn’t look like Shane was going to move and it didn’t look like the car was going to stop.

Bette ran off the front deck and pulled Shane out of the way of the speeding car. Tina caught up to both of them.

Bette took Shane’s face in her hands, forcing her to look at her.

Bette: What are you doing? Don’t you know how much we care about you? Don’t you know how upset everyone would be if we lost you?

Shane: I don’t mean anything. I should’ve gotten hit by that car. It would have been a tragic end to a tragic life.

Tina hugged Shane with all the force in her body.

Tina: Don’t ever talk like that.

Shane: Why? If I didn’t let those things happen I would never be so screwed up.

Bette: You didn’t let those things happen. You had no control over the life you led or what happened to you recently. You were living on the streets you did what you had to do to survive.

Shane: It wasn’t my fault?

Tina: Of course it wasn’t your fault. It was never your fault.

Shane reacted to the news by hugging Tina and Bette at the same time. They were all crying.

Bette: Things are going to get better I promise.
