**It’s Friday night, a few days after Carmen decided to try a platonic relationship with Shane. Unaware of this change, Shane invites Carmen over to hang out. Carmen gladly accepts Shane’s invitation eager to see how Shane will react when she finds out that what they’ll be going at all night long won’t be exactly what she’s used to. After working at a party till around 2 a.m., Carmen stops at home to retrieve her dusty Scrabble game from the back of her closet, and makes her way to Shane’s place. As Carmen reaches Shane’s house, she pulls out her cell phone and dials Shane’s number…meanwhile, Shane, who’s in the kitchen searching for something to eat hears her phone vibrating and answers…**

Shane: “Hey, what’s up?”

Carmen: In a ***** tone, “Hey, baby, guess who’s waiting outside your door with a special little something just for you. I have somethong, I mean something, that I’m sure only you can handle…I’m sure it will keep us busy alll nigghht loonng.” Carmen lets out a bit of a seductive laugh, “Come and get it you ***** criminal.”

Shane laughs and heads for the door. As she swings open the door, she notices Carmen in a long black trench coat. Carmen slowly unbuttons her coat to reveal sweatpants, a tank top, and the Scrabble box.

Shane: “What the *****? What’s with the Scrabble?…Ohhh I get it, it’s for some kind of ***** word game, right?” Shane face lights up with anticipation.

After exploding with laughter at the sight of Shane’s priceless expression, Carmen gains enough composure to squeeze out a response.

Carmen: “Not exactly. Oh, did I forget to tell you? I’ve decided that since we’re just friends, it’d be best that we involved ourselves in just friends activities. So I thought Scrabble would be a nice place to start. I mean, we don’t really need the ***** part anyway, you know, since you have all those other girls, right?”

Shane, a little shocked at the sudden change in plans, insincerely yet nonchalantly responds.

Shane: “Yeah sure, whatever, that’s cool, whatever you say goes. Damn, I haven’t played Scrabble in so long, how do you play again?”
