    SERIES CHALLENGE #2
    Poker Night!!

    Helena and Alice walked up the walkway to Bette and Tina’s hand in hand. When they got to the door, Helena pulled Alice to her.

    “Are you sure you still want to bet me?” Helena asked with a smirk

    “Oh yeah. I’m not worried. The bet stands on both ends, whether we like it or not.” Alice said, determination on her face

    “Well, it will be your loss.” Helena said with a sad nod

    Alice kissed Helena. “You wish.” She smiled against Helena’s lips and opened the door. “We’re here! Poker night can start!” Alice announced giddily

    “Oh joy.” Shane deadpanned. “Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.” She smirked at Alice

    Alice rolled her eyes. “With how long it’s been since we had a poker night, I was hoping you would forget about that stupid little saying of yours.”

    “Never.” Shane grinned

    Helena and Alice joined Bette, Tina, Shane, Carmen, Dana, Lara, and Jenny around the makeshift poker table.

    “Where’s Angelica?” Helena asked as Alice reached for her hand under the table

    “Kit and Angus took her out so we could have a girls night.” Bette smiled

    “Would anyone like a beer?” Jenny asked as she stood up

    “We’ll each take one.” Helena said and smiled at Alice

    Dana rolled her eyes. “I’ll take one.”

    Everyone else told Jenny to grab them one also, and she left the living room for the kitchen.

    “She’s not going to be able to carry all of that by herself.” Helena said and stood up. “I’ll help her.” She said and walked into the kitchen

    As soon as Helena was out of earshot, everyone turned to Alice with evil grins. Alice closely inspected her nails, ignoring her friend’s looks.

    “Alice!” Dana whined

    Alice sighed and looked into the expectant faces of her friends. “Yes?”

    “Spill.” Shane said simply

    “There’s nothing to spill.” Alice sighed

    “That’s not what your text to Shane said this morning.” Tina smirked

    Alice rolled her eyes. “Nothing happened.”

    Bette arched an eyebrow. “Nothing? You two look pretty close today.”

    “Fine!” Alice laughed. “We’re together. We’re trying it out and seeing where it goes.”

    “You two are really cute together.” Lara smiled at Alice

    Dana glared at her girlfriend and then turned her glare to Alice. “So did you two fuck yet?”

    3. Even though I like Dana I agree with juniot jugz. Helena and Alice are one of a kind. You have written a stiry about them that no has attemped. PLease don’t screw it nup now by making a Danish story I will have to stop reading!! And I DON’T WANT TO DO THAT!!!!!!!!!!

    6. I guess it wouldn’t be right if Alice lies to Helena – then hooks up with Dana later in the story… What if Alice is lying to herself too? lol I can’t choose – actually danish trumps all others for me…
