    Three and a half years after S1. Jaime and Tina, Bette and everyone else.

    When New and Old Collide: Chapter 8

    Previously:

    Bette gets to The Planet and straightens herself out before opening the doors. When she opens the door she automatically sees the girls sitting at their usual table; she stops and wonders if this is the right thing to do, and as she starts to chicken out and turn around to walk out the door she hears it.

    Alice: Holy *****! Bette ***** Porter is that you, and if it is you better get your sorry ***** over here or I am going to kick it.

    Bette turns back around with a slight look of caution and starts to walk towards the table. As she is walking she is noticing the few strangers sitting at the table, and a few of the old ones who are looking at her like she is a stranger.

    Jaime had taken Tina and Beth up the PCH to a little private beach, just off the side of the road. This little cove had always been a special place for Tina and Jaime knew this was the perfect place to pop the question. Jaime planned a small picnic which they had been eating while making small talk. Jaime kept trying to find the perfect way to start asking Tina about moving in together; she just kept losing her words and that was making her nervous and anxious.

    Jaime: Tina, um I was wondering what you think about maybe moving in together? she says full of anxiety.

    Tina: I dont know what to say. I really have never thought about it, I guess thats something that we will have to discuss. She says now wondering where this is coming from; they have never discussed this issue before and she feels a little sideswiped.

    Jaime: Well do you think that we can talk about it right know? I would really like to know your thoughts about where you think we are in this relationship. She says a little upset about not getting the reaction from Tina that she had hoped she would get.

    Tina really does not want to talk about moving in together right now; she is still very confused about seeing Bette and knowing that she is in L.A. right know. Tina is just sitting there she knows she should say something, anything but no words are moving from her brain to her vocal chords. As Tina is sitting there Jaime is thinking the worst, every horrible thought that she can muster up in her head about where this is going to go and what Tina is thinking just breaking away at her heart, and then it happened.

    2. Wow talk about blowing someone off, I wonder how jamie even though she had a chance. She should have not rushed tina. I bet when tina finds out that jamie saw bette she will be pissed. Anyways have some shot for me I turn 23 the end of july so I know the feeling.
