Previously
Satisfied that she’s done all she can for now Angelica steps out of the restroom. The two skateboarders are still gliding around. The guy is trying something this time but not with the same success the girl had. His board squirts out from under him causing him to stumble but not fall completely.
“Damn” he says to himself but loud enough that Angelica could hear him.
Smiling Angelica speaks up. “Don’t be too hard on yourself I wouldn’t even begin to attempt a trick.”
The guy looks up embarrassed that Angelica saw his goof up. “I usually land that one. I just caught the end wrong that’s all.” He quickly explains to Angelica. “It happens.”
“Sure you did Reg.” the other skateboarder says sarcastically while she glides up inserting herself into the conversation. She’s about Angelica’s height but because she still on her board Angelica has to look up to her. Immediately Angelica is struck. She has the warmest green brown eyes that Angelica has ever seen. Unlike her own oil black eyes this girl’s eyes seem to be calling out to her warm, friendly and inviting.
She was a waif of a girl, ram rod straight and bone skinny with short brown hair. She easily could be mistaken for a guy but Angelica knew better. Angelica could feel her cheeks getting warm from the intensity of this girl’s gaze. Not knowing what to do, Angelica looks down quickly at her feet. But immediately she misses looking into those warm green brown eyes.
“So what’s your name? They call me Frankie. Do you do any riding?”
“Frankie what’re ya doing? I was talking to her first. Go away.” Reg says but from the look Frankie gives him he can see she isn’t going anywhere.
Angie continues to look at her feet for a little while longer until she realizes that this girl isn’t going anywhere until she speaks. Getting a grip on herself Angie looks back up into those eyes and smiles shyly.
Chapter 12
Angelica was having fun. She had convinced Frankie to let her stand on her board, Frankie had her hands on Angelica’s hips in an effort to give her instructions on how to skateboard, telling her how to move her knees.

I really enjoyed the chapter. Frankie reminded me a little bit of Shane. :) Her and Angelica are very cute together. I really like Frankie because she’s very concerned about Angelica and her well-being. Ooooh, this is going to get interesting. Kit noticed a familiarity in Angelica and I can’t wait for these two ladies to talk. Great chapter and PPS!

Angie lucked out when she met Frankie and she is also lucky that Frankie is one of Shane’s kids, therefore one of Bette’s kids also. Angie must look enough like Tina for Kit to get this feeling that she looks familar.

Ange needs Bette now; hell she doesn’t know who she is at the most important time of her life; so my friend sort out her identity and are u hinting her sexual identity may need sorting also; adolescence is so hard. as usual a great read.

Hello JWet, Thank you for another wonderful post. Good to see thta Frankie was there for Angelica. Ready to help out and offer her some real advice. The net is tightening as Kit has now witnessed her “Niece” in the Planet. Wonder when 1 and 1 will make 2??? Amazing to think that everything Frankie has been through she is able and willing to offer a hand. Perhaps this is the miracle of the Kids Shelter. Give them a place to stay and sound advice and hope that they pay it forward in life. I do hope you come back to use soon and post more of this awesome adventure I am just wondering if Tina has the courage to come to LA and visit the gang again. I am sure that with their contacts they can find Angelica quickly. Mind you that may raise more questions than answers. i a ready for any eventuality you care to share.
