"What do you want to do today?" I asked Tina as we are just hanging around the house this Saturday afternoon.

I was on the kitchen table just about to finish the report that was due on Monday while Tina is watching TV on the living room.

"Maybe we can have a pre-anniversary date." Tina told me as she stood up from the couch.

"A pre-anniversary date?" I said as I shut down my laptop. "Is there such a thing."

"Yeah," Tina said taking a seat beside me. "I just invited you to one."

"So just to make this clear.. you want to have a pre-anniversary date and tomorrow we’ll have the this-is-our-anniversary-date?!" I said.

"We can always stay here if you don’t want too." Tina said as she started to stand up from the chair beside me. She’s obviously disappointed but before she can walk away I grabbed her arm.

"Hey.. I was just teasing you." I said as I stood up from my chair so that I can hug her. "Didn’t you know that I tried to finish that report so that I can give you my full attention?" I continued trying to convince my girl that I wouldn’t want anything to do than to spend my day with her. "I would absolutely take you out on a pre-anniversary date." I finished as I put a soft kiss on her lips.

"I know you couldn’t resist me." Tina said with a mocking smile on her face.

"See? You’re using me!" I said trying to sound hurt.

"I know you love it." She said as she put her arms around my waist. "Admit it."

I just look at my baby and of course I know that she’s right because there is nothing that I would not do to make her happy.

"That’s because I love you so much.." I said as I pulled her closer so that I can kiss her again.

"You’re in luck because I absolutely feel the same." Tina said as she pulled me back again for another kiss. "I love you."

"What are you hungry for?" Bette asked me as the movie finished.

"Pizza!" I exlaimed.

We just had our date. Well.. it’s not really a romantic date since we just went to the mall, we grabbed some groceries then we decided to watch a movie. But hey.. it’s not that we were planning to go out, I just asked my girlfriend to take me out on a date and she did and besides I don’t really care where we go or what we do, all I want is to spend some time with my girlfriend, feeling her soft hands on mine as we walk through the mall.. I can’t wish for anything else.
