    Author Notes:

    shane in the Morales’ house

     "I missed you too…" I say pulling her in my arms. 

     "Hi Shane" Rosita says to Shane in her chirpy 10 years old voice. 

     "hello princess" and Shane picks her up and swirls her before putting her down….

     "One more time please"…..Rosita pleads with Shane to repeat the action. 

     "anything for my little princess" as Shane repeated her actions. I couldn’t help but think that unlike Jordan’s fake interactions with the kids…Shane’s actually a genuine….seeing Rosita getting the priviledge of being swirled in the air by Shane…all the kids gathered around Shane and waited for their turns, as Shane repeated her actions with every one. 

     Anna:"Miguel…get down from Shane’s shoulder you are hurting her….Shane you should come inside now…you’ve been outside ever since you came…" 

     I was already inside talking to my aunts and cousins as Shane entered everyone stopped what they were doing to make a double take at her. As they all took turn to hug Shane…Shane looked like she was chocking. I cannot help but laugh at her helpless condition. She seems rather intimidated by my brothers. Although Carlos and the others are pretty nice to her and asked her to hang out with them. The guys somehow took Shane in their group. While I chatted endlessly with the girls as they poured in all their stories about their families and stuff. 

     As the aunts retired to the kitchen…

     Anna:"So how was your honeymoon Carmen?" as she winks at me. 

     "It was good" i reply curtly…but couldn’t help but smile as I look at Shane standing outside with the guys sipping beer and laughing at something. Its funny how we got so close to each other in such a short period of time. They have no idea that we didn’t even kiss yet. Although I would really like to feel those lips and those abs…but I don’t know if she would even consider staying after the Jordan ordeal is done with…but I am happy knowing that at least upto that time I get to have Shane all to myself as my wife! 

     Rosa:"So it was that good huh?"  I was brought out of my trance by Rosa’s teasing remark. 

     Anna:"Wow! I am soo jealous of you guys! you guys make such a hot couple"
