    Just another love story from the beginning.

     

    Bette was not one of the friendliest or easiest patients to ever grace the elegance of St. Patrick’s, but even the most stubborn beast could be tamed with the smallest smile and softest touch.  After all, Bette was a determined force who conveyed the demands instead of being the individual who was given the order to accomplish; she did want she wanted, when she wanted on her time and no one else’s.  The first four weeks of her recuperation was a commotion of understanding what had happened to her, trying to remember what her mind had deliberately forgotten and regaining the strength in her muscles to be able to do for herself.  The second month focused on the physical therapy that would enable Bette’s body to relearn the movements of the arms, neck and legs as they were meant to be.  Due to the spinal injury sustained, it required Bette to participate more frequently in water exercises so that the pressure of her weight would not hinder her progress.  Throughout her recovery, Kyle and Bette were each other’s shadow; you didn’t see one without the other.  Together they encouraged each other to achieve the goals set by the physicist every day and being the other’s fortress made their medical objectives more obtainable.  Kyle was an inspiration to all he came into contact with and as a matter of natural course, Kyle became an important element in both of Bette and Tina’s life; he turned their twosome into a threesome, capturing their hearts with a strong family foundation.  It was a sad day when a representative of the social services department made a visit to see Kyle, six weeks into his recovery, as no one had come to claim this young bundle of joy.  Kyle was full of energetic animation and the time Bette spent with him made the hospital transition more pleasant.  “Bette, why is she taking me away?  Why can’t I stay with you and Tina?  Don’t you like me anymore?”  The disappointed look on Kyle’s face was forever imprinted in Bette’s mind.  Tina watched the emotional goodbye and without realizing it mentioned, “We could always adopt him”.  Needless to say, the last month was concentrated on finalizing the legal documentation and regardless of suffering through the many court sessions of acceptable social politics; Kyle would soon be their son.

    1. March 19th? I wonder why you choose this date…….LOL…..Another great chapter…..I know that you not going to end this soon…..There’s so much more to EXPLORE…….I like the fact that Bette is a queen but what do that make Kit…….BTW……I know why you hear the sound of my voice in your head!!!!!!

    4. The length was just fine. :) I can see why Bette kept this a secret. Like she said, she wanted Tina to love her as Bette. Some people can’t see beyond a title, fame or wealth. I think Tina would’ve been star struck at first but she wouldn’t have cared if Bette was dirt poor. She would’ve loved her regardless. Plus, it’s not easy to believe a piece of news like, “Oh by the way I’m next in line to run my country. Can we have sex now?”

    8. Egypt hey :o)…….I can understand why Bette kept this a secret from Tina but what is going to happen now. Is Bette going to ask Tina to forgive her and will she…..hmmm you sure leave us with a gap. Post soon

    10. Wow, this story is still very intriquing. Bette as a Queen. Tina is as mad as a hornet’s nest, but I can understand Bette wanting Tina to love her for her and not the position. Does this mean that on the next flight to Bette’s country that we will find one Tina Kennard-Porter and a very handsome Kyle Kennard-Porter? Now that would piss off one mommy dearest. Yes you did great but now you have to post again. I do miss the dark/light angles hanging around though.
