    just another love story from the beginning

     

    By late evening, Bette and Tina’s mood became subdued as their ‘we’ time was quickly coming to end.  Tina prepared a well seasoned meal that Bette assisted with; of course the only food Bette could prepare without burning was a salad.  “I’ll clean while you pack your things”.  Tina made her way to the bedroom on slow feet; not wanting to lose this day.  In ten minutes, Tina returned with her belongings to the living room to find Bette patiently waiting on the couch.  As she approached Bette, Tina became worried for she noted that Bette was chewing on her bottom lip; a clear sign that something was on her mind.  “Penny for your thoughts” Tina said as she took her seat next to Bette.  Bette wasn’t started by Tina’s presence for she could always feel Tina before she saw her.  Bette stared intently at Tina and presented her with a small silver box.  Tina was so enthralled with Bette’s stare that she couldn’t bring herself to break eye contact.  “Aren’t you going to open it?”  Tina removes the top and lowers her eyes to gaze upon a key lying on white cotton.  Tina is startled by the gesture that tears start a silent cry down her cheeks.  Bette raises Tina head so that their embers are in line with each other.  “Tina, I am so tired of coming home to an empty house.  I know that we have only known each other for a mere seven days, but I have never been so sure of you, of us.  I know that there will be days were things will go wrong, but as long as we put each other first, our love will keep us strong.  I want to spend my life with you.  I want to make a home with you; start a family with you.  I . . . I need to be with you.  I love you”.  Tina is speechless for several minutes for she lost her voice and because of it, Bette takes it as rejection.  “I guess the answer is no” and disappointedly rises from the sofa.  “Are you ready to go home?”  Tina witnesses the hurt buried deep within Bette’s eyes and doesn’t move.  Tina thinks, ‘I could never cause this woman any harm.  I have loved her from the beginning and know I will love her to the end.  She makes me happy.  She is all that I need in my life’.  Tina finally speaks reassuringly, “I’m already home”.  Bette didn’t say anything as she kneed in front of Tina, to rest her head in Tina’s lap, to surround Tina’s waist within her arms.  Tina leaned forward to place her head against Bette’s.

     

    “I love you Tina”.

     

    “I know”.

    2. OMG, there will be no leason #5. Damn so glad this came at the end of my work day when I’m the only one in the office. That was definitly hot, but so emotional that I’m drained and I didn’t even do anything, well not yet. Love “I’m already home” just perfect.

    7. “Teach me how to love you”. Bette slides into bed and happily says, “It would be my pleasure”…..“Where do I start?” Tina is practically shaking; more from nervousness than fear.
      OK, now this is truly a 1st for me. I havent read any story in which Tina actually asked Bette to teach her. All of them have been Tina wanting to please Bette with as much vigor as Bette has shown her; without any assistance!

      strawberry juices…..chocolate essence…..cherry almonds…..caramel face
      (thinking to myself) Does Ben & Jerry make anything that taste like B&T.

      “T, are you sure?” Tina softly caresses the right side of Bette’s face, she purrs, “Confidence is a virtue. Don’t question me again, Bette. Do as you are told”.
      This line would ONLY work on TV.

      All I can say about the rest of this story is WOW!!
