    just another love story from the beginning.

     

    “And you Tina Kennard drive me absolutely insane”.  Bette raises her upper body to rest peacefully on her elbows.  “Am I forgiven?”, Bette questions as she displays the most adorable puppy sadden bedroom eyes.  Tina lovingly caresses Bette’s smooth face and places an escaped strand of hair behind Bette’s left ear.  “That depends”.  Bette patiently waits for Tina to continue.  “What are we doing this afternoon?”  Tina is taken by surprise when Bette rolls over to be sheltered between the carpet and Tina’s body.  As she straddles Bette’s waist, Tina realizes that she actually likes this position and it shows on her face.  Bette comments, “I thought we could go back to my house, lounge by the pool and have a picnic.  The weather is perfect for it; warm and sunny.  Not a single cloud in the sky”.  Bette warmly watches the look of expectation on Tina’s face.  “Lounge by the pool.  That means a swimsuit”.  With a hungry look in her eyes, Tina specifically comments further, “That means us in a bikini”.  Bette interrupts Tina’s pondering by asking, “So what do you think?”  Bette didn’t believe anyone could move as fast as Tina did to run to her bedroom.  Bette raises herself to rest her back against the couch and smiles to herself.  A few minutes later, Bette walks towards the bedroom and catches Tina chucking her clothes on the bed.  “T, make sure you pack a change of clothes for the party tonight and whatever else you need for a sleep over”.  Tina slows her frantic movements and turns her attention to Bette.  “A sleep over?  Do I need clothes for a sleep over?”  Bette licks her lips and replies with, “Not until I bring you home that is”.  Tina hurries even further.

     

    Bette’s House

     

    The leisurely drive to Bette’s house was showered with conversation, clasping hands, brushes of meaningful touches, and seductive stares due to the anticipation of tonight’s events.  Tina couldn’t stay angry at Bette after she explained her reasoning to wait.  She understood Bette wanted their first time of love making to be special; to be memorable for all time to come.  Bette eases the car to a stop in the driveway and with much conviction says to Tina, “Welcome home, sweetheart” and leans over for the sweetest kiss she has ever tasted.  “You taste like strawberries lathered in whipped cream”.  Bette raises her left eyebrow as she thinks, ‘Whipped cream?  Not a bad idea’.  Tina notices Bette’s devouring look and decides it best not to even ask her what she is thinking about.
