    part two: Tina’s Luck

    Tina’s Luck

    “Tina I’m telling you, you have to wake up!”

    Tina irritatingly covered her eyes from the blinding light that was coming thru the big window. She slept late last night editing her latest novel that waking her up at 7 in the morning was such a mortal sin

    “Give me a break Adrienne it’s just seven in the morning for goodness’ sakes. I promise I’ll go to your office later” the blonde said then covered her face with a pillow

    Adrienne Spencer was a happily married woman for 15 years, a mother of two, Tina’s publisher and a very good friend. She loved the blonde to pieces that she couldn’t take seeing her friend miserable. Tina had gone thru strings of bad relationships that she didn’t believe in love anymore which was a big contrast to her writing for the blonde was a best-selling author of romantic novels that you would never suspect that the woman loathed love, well at least that’s what she heard from the blonde.

    “Tina I appreciate the fact that you keep on making me rich but today’s Saturday so it means that my office is close”

    “Then what are you doing here?”

    “I want you to get your ass up because we are going out!” an exciting smile showing on Adrienne’s face

    Tina removed the pillow on her face and looked at her friend “Where are we going?”

    “You have to get up for you to know”

    “Look I’m not in my playful mood right now so please… go away!” the blonde went under the blanket to go back to sleep and hugged her pillow tightly

    In one swift move, Adrienne removed the blanket and pulled Tina’s ankle dragging her body to the foot of the bed

    “Ouch!”

    Suddenly Adrienne’s face turned serious “Tina you know I’m worried about you, it’s been three years since you broke up with that guy… what’s his name again?”

    “Joshua” the blonde replied then rolled her eyes

    “Yes Joshua! And you’ve never went out on a date, all you do is stay in this damn house and do…lord knows what!”

    “Hey in case you don’t remember I’m a writer you know and a brilliant one!” the blonde said yawning and now sitting on the bed stretching her arms
