    Chapter 25

    Audio taping of Det. Duffy interrogating a few clowns.

     

     

    Interrogator: Please state your name.

     

    Suspect:  *unrecognizable

     

    Interrogation: Uh, here.

     

    Suspect: Oh sorry, um Alice.

     

    Interrogator: Last name

     

    Alice: Piezecki, Alice Piezecki.

     

    Interrogator: Miss Piezecki you do understand that you are not being charged with a crime.

     

    Alice: Yes I do.

     

    Interrogator: This just part of the standard operating procedure.

     

    Alice: Wow, we have a lot in common.  I interview a lot of people too

     

    Interrogator: Miss Piezecki do you recall your whereabouts at the time of the murder.

     

    Alice: Yes, I was in the theater watching the movie.

     

    Interrogator: The whole movie?

     

    Alice: Yes.

     

    Interrogator: Is there anyone who can verify this?

     

    Alice: Yes, um, Dana, Shane, Helena, Bette, Tina and Kit.  Oh and about fifty other people.

     

     

     

     

     

    Kit: We were all in the theater watching the movie.

     

    Interrogator: I understand that, but you didn’t notice Miss Schecter acting different throughout the night?

    Kit: Jenny is always acting weird when she’s not being her melodramatic self.  Even when she’s being nice it’s weird.

     

    Interrogator: Miss Porter

     

    Kit: Please call me Kit

     

    Interrogator: Very well.  Kit, tell me something about Jenny Schecter.

     

    Kit: Known her for five years.  She used to work for me, great work ethic when she didn’t have her head in the clouds.

     

     

     

     

    Bette: An old friend had an affair with Jenny while she was in another relationship.

     

    Interrogator: Did you have a problem with this?

     

    Bette: Of course I did because what they were doing was wrong, and Tim, Jenny’s ex, didn’t deserve that.

     

    Interrogator: This was the beginning of your dislike for Jenny?

     

    Bette: I wasn’t upset with Jenny as I was with my friend.  I felt that she was wrecking, at that time, the best thing that ever happened to Tim.  It turned out that she was the best thing that ever happened to Jenny.

     

     

     

     

    Tina: I was the first one to meet Jenny.

     

    Interrogator: How did that go for you?

     

    Tina: It was friendship at first sight.

    1. t, I’m glad you updated, I was waiting patiently for your return. OK, so the cab confessions were hysterical. It was perfect. I was shocked that they all took a shot at Jenny, except for Kit. I think I would have hit the floor, if Kit confessed to sleeping with Jenny. LOL. So, who is the K-I-L-L-E-R????????????????????

    5. Loved it!! THANK YOU for Bette admitting to Tina she doesn’t see herself pregnant. Kit’s response to Duffy asking if she slept with Jenny had me laughing so hard.
