“Hello my little cutie pie, how are you?” Brian smiled at Carmen
“Cutie pie?” Carmen smirked
“Well yes I didn’t want to call you beautiful or babe or gorgeous incase your fiancée punches me one” Brian smiled hugging Carmen “How’s it going?”
“As well as can be expected” Carmen smiled
“What the fuck were you wearing tonight?” Lisa asked
“What was wrong with my fur coat, Jess said it made me look pretty”
Carmen smiled “yeah it most certainly did”
“Where’s Mama B, I came all this way out to say hi and she isn’t even here” Brian asked
“Away to see my Mum” Lisa smiled “Where’s my sister and husband?”
“Jess tried to sneak out to see Carmen and got bombarded with photographers so she ran backstage again” Brian smiled “How good is her new song by the way? Flaming loved it, first we’ve heard it”
“What one?” Lisa asked
“Thinking out loud, I love it, Shay’s face was a picture” Brian smirked
“Shay can just get a grip” Carmen said
“I need beer let me go find beer…do you want one?” Brian asked
“We would love one or ten” Lisa smiled
“Why don’t you come backstage with us” Brian asked
“Carmen only has her crutches and we don’t want to push her” Andrew said
Brian turned “Jump on my back”
“Absolutely not” Carmen laughed
“Hey come on trust me, least it will look like were having fun, come on I promise not to drop you”
“You better not Jess would kill you” Lisa smiled
Carmen smiled letting Brian give her a piggy back.
“Follow me” Brian said to everyone”
“All of us?” Mason said
“Well duh!!!” Brian smiled
Brian walked through everyone “COMING THROUGH MOVE OUT THE WAY!”
“What the hell is he doing?” Tina asked
“She’s smiling so he can do what he likes” Bette smiled watching them
“They’re all going backstage”
Jess looked up from the sofa of their dressing room “What the hell is he doing with my fiancée on his back?”
“Present…for you…all the way from out there” Brian said leaning down and letting Carmen slide onto the sofa “I thought due to you not being able to get out there right now I would bring what you wanted to you, I’m nice like that”
“Thank you” Jess smiled
“Okay can we go get beer now?” Andrew asked
“Where’s my husband?” Lisa asked
“He’s with Steven and John away getting beer” Jess smiled “Go find them”
“Okay let’s give them two some privacy” Lisa smiled knowing her sister wanted some time with Carmen
They all left the dressing room
Jess pulled Carmen into her arms “I missed you so much, I’ve been trying to call you all day”
“I was in a strop I’m sorry” Carmen admitted resting her head on Jess’s shoulder
“I was worried, but Lisa told me you were fine just not in a good mood”
Carmen smiled “Yeah sorry, I was just being a diva”
Jess pulled back and cupped Carmen’s face “I love you”
“Love you too” Carmen smiled “And I missed you too, more than you know”
Jess kissed Carmen softly
Mason barged in the room with Carmen’s crutches
“Mama said I’ve to bring these, and Kelly says you need to go out and sign in 10 minutes” Mason snapped
“What’s up with you?” Jess asked noticing her little brother’s apparent mood
“Mum just had a go at me”
“Why?” Jess asked
“Because I accidently knocked over her camera”
“I’m surprised you’re still breathing” Carmen smirked
Bette walked into the room laughing
“What’s funny?” Mason asked
“Nothing never mind…Sweetie you were incredible tonight and your new song is beautiful…I must say I was pleasantly surprised with Mark’s voice”
“You all thought Mark couldn’t sing didn’t you”
“I’ve never heard him sing” Bette said
“And he usually sings badly”
“He takes the piss when singing around people, but Mark can sing, all my boys can” Jess smirked
“A lot of swearing in it” Mason emphasised
“Yeah mark was very angry he wrote the swear words I wrote the rest” Jess smirked
“Was Kyle here?”
“As far I know” Jess smirked “Anyway spending five minutes with my fiancée who I haven’t seen all week goodbye”
“You haven’t seen me either” Bette said
“Or me” Mason looked at his sister
“I’ll see you both later”
“You’ll see Carmen too you live with us all!” Mason stated folding his arms
“Mason shut up or you will lose a Christmas present…Mama can you not go annoy your wife?”
“Ok ok we know when were not wanted” Bette said putting her arm around Mason “Well just go get a hot chocolate and whatever else we might like”
Bette left the room closing the door
“So how’s this week been? What have I missed?”
“Babe you’ve spoke to me on the phone 4 times a day”
“Yeah but you can lie to me on a phone, you can’t lie to my face” Jess smirked
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
“Have you been sleeping?”
“Not really my legs have been pretty sore”
“How has physio went?”
“Okay I think, your mama has been great”
“How you feeling about everything?” Jess asked
“Okay, I just missed you, I don’t like having to rely on other people and Lisa and your Mama can be suffocating”
“They’re only trying to help babe, I left instructions for them to look after you”
“Lisa wouldn’t even close the door for me to pee, she literally turned her back”
Jess laughed “Yeah okay that’s a bit extreme”
“It’s one thing you helping me but everyone else it’s humiliating”
“Well I’m home now” Jess smiled
“How’s your week been? Did you get everything done?”
“Yeah everything is good to go, I have one more song I want on the album but I’ll sort that after Christmas”
Kelly knocked on the door before coming in.
“Jess you need to sign now, the guys are all waiting for you” Kelly smiled
“Yeah sure” Jess smiled “Come with me”
“I’ll just wait here”
“No come with me, I want my girl beside me”
“They don’t want to talk to me, they want to see you”
“I want you there, and the boys all miss you” Jess said
“Give me 5 minutes and I’ll come find you, I just need a drink”
“Promise?”
“I promise” Carmen smiled
Jess kissed her softly before following Kelly
She took her seat in the middle between Mark and Jace.
10 minutes later Brian appeared with Carmen on his back.
“Hi guys ignore us were just you know joining the band” Brian smirked “The summer set is over it’s all about Jess and Jaded now!”
People looked at Brian
“He’s joking” Jess smiled
“Isn’t that your fiancée?” A young fan asked Jess
“Yes that would be her” Jess smiled
“Brian has stolen her for the night, he doesn’t get to see her often” Jace smirked
”She’s very pretty” the young girl said
”Thank you, I think your right she is very pretty” Jess smiled
”Can I have a picture with you please?”
”Off course you can, just me or all the boys?” Jess asked
”Can I have both?”
”Since it’s nearly Christmas off course you can” Jess smiled getting up and going round to the young girl and putting her arm round her and smiling for picture number 1. ”Okay boys assemble please” Jess smiled as the boys all got up coming round.
”Jace can I touch your hair?” The young girl asked
”Oh I don’t know about that” Jace smiled bending down for her to touch his hair
”Thank you” The young girl’s parents smiled before leaving with the girl.
”Awwww that’s what it’s all about, happy faces” Kelly smiled
