    Carmen walked into the room with Callie and took a deep breath when she seen Jess. She walked over kissing Jess on the head and sitting down taking her hand.

    “I’m here baby, were all here” Carmen said wiping her eyes

    “I’ll leave you too it if you need me I’m only down the corridor okay” Callie smiled

    “Callie…sorry for being an arse”

    “Hey you’re allowed, I would have been the same” Callie smiled leaving the room

    “When I told you I might get away from work early this morning baby, this was not what I had in mind” Carmen said rubbing Jess’s hand

     

    Dr Rourke had just explained everything to Carmen he was now on route to explain to Bette and Tina. He knocked on the room before entering.

    “Hi is it possible just to speak to Bette and Tina for a minute?”

    “This is Jess’s aunts and brother and sister so what you need to say you can say to us all” Tina said

    “Okay” Dr Rourke closed the door and sat down “So as Dr Torres explained, we had to remove the clot and we done this by a burr hole into Jess’s skull, so for the next few days we will be keeping her under observation and monitoring everything but I’m pretty confident we’ve got the clot and Jess should recover fully”

    “Thank you” Bette smiled

    “Your more than welcome” The doctor got up leaving the room

    “I just need a little air” Tina got up leaving the room

    Bette looked at Alice and Dana.

    “Think I need some air too” Dana said picking up on Bette’s cue

    Tina walked outside rubbing her eyes and then her head.

    “Talk to me” Dana said putting her arm around her friend

    “Someone up above is most definitely testing me Dana” Tina laughed “How much is one fucking person supposed to take!”

    “Yes I can see how it may seem like that; you’ve not had an easy few months”

    “Few…try 8 months!” Tina stated “All this shit with Bette has tested me in more ways than one and now my 26 year old is lying in ICU”

    “Jess will be fine, so will Bette” Dana said pulling Tina into a hug

    “I know I’m just being silly, I just need some air, I don’t like the kids seeing me upset” Tina explained

      When I think everything will be fine, now is Jess
      who is in the hospital, Tina really is a woman of fiber.

    4. Just came back to this one and I read the comments before the story and I am confused. I LOVE’S ME SOME TINA, and I know it has been a rough road for her, but I don’t understand the “poor Tina”, comments. Every member of her family has been in some sort of medical crisis except her, to me she is the lucky one.
