The engine of Danas Subaru ticked over quietly, the only sound to be heard at that moment in time, parked, as she was, outside Als apartment. Danas thoughts were chasing each other around and around in her head, not forming anything coherent.

A fleeting moment of guilt flashed through her mind, as she remembered that she was supposed to be getting married soona thought that quickly died when she compared the feeling of simply looking into Alices eyes, to that of a thousand kisses with Tonya. She sighed: there was no comparison.

She glanced at the clock on the dashboardthe 10 minutes were up. As if in a trance, she switched off the engine, opened the door, locked the car, walked to the apartment building and pressed the buzzer for Als placeand released the breath she hadnt even realised shed been holding.

Alice was so relieved that Dana had managed to make the first move. A part of her needed Dana to do it first, to convince her that it was Al that she wanted. She could feel Danas breath on her face as she moved in closer and met the heated look in her eyes with one of her own.
