    Marie: Are you two hungry. I have some croissant rolls with a variety of sandwich meat. Also I can put on some fries or you both can have some chips?

     

    Marie stared at Tina’s belly but tried not to be too obvious.

     

    “Or maybe you both would like a good old fashion home cooked meal,” Marie said quicker than she intended.

     

    Before Bette could open her mouth to speak.

     

    Tina: Mom sandwiches and chips will do just fine, thanks.

     

    Tina stared at Bette to convey her disapproval.

     

    Bette pouted.

     

    While Marie was in the kitchen preparing the fixings for Bette and Tina to make their sandwiches Jo made his move.

     

    So Tina, tell dear old dad what has caused you and your friend to come all this way, Jo stated with a devious smile.

     

    Tina blew out her cheeks.

     

    Tina: Well I have something I want to tell you and mom.

     

    Jo looked down at Tina’s belly, “It’s a little late for that don’t you think Bette?”

     

    Bette could feel the room turning warm. She broke out in an instance sweat.

     

    Bette: I’m not sure that I understand your meaning.

     

    Tina was puzzled by her father’s behavior. Especially his coldness toward Bette when he didn’t even know Bette.

     

    Tina: What’s going on are you and mom fighting?

     

    Jo: What on earth would make you think that?

     

    Tina looked at her dad like duh, “Your behavior.”

     

     Marie comes back in the living room.

     

    The room fell silent.

     

    Marie: Bette I didn’t know what you liked on your sandwich so I just sat out all the fixings. I have lettuce, tomato, mayo, mustard, and cheese laid out.

     

    Bette: Wow that was quick.

     

    Marie: We had some chopped lettuce and tomatoes left over from lunch.  Sorry I didn’t make a full course meal for you guys but I thought you might only want light food this late.

     

    Tina: Mom this is great. Anyway Bette and I stopped and ate at a restaurant shortly before we arrived.

     

    Bette: Yea Thanks, very much Mrs. M. I appreciate you just being so welcoming.

     

    Bette didn’t know why but she felt as though she could be herself around Tina’s mother and the name Mrs. M just stuck.

    1. I’m with the great lady above me! But I had an inkling there was more to Mum & Dad. Also, Bette got pregnant before when she made her best friend pregnant. So, maybe she’s not so alien from Tina after all. See, I pay attention! Am I right..am I?! Wow, this great, so unique. Awesome! Sorry calm now. PPS!

    8. sorry, a sentence was left off. Joanna seemed to know all the methods for getting lesbians pregnant that no ordinary man would know. Did Tina faint because just realized her “Dad” is also a woman. And how the hell did Joanna know that Bette was pregnant? Is she also from Bette’s planet and knows everything and knows how Bette could be pregnant also. Oh God, please post very very soon. Can’t wait.

    9. First of all you have some ‘splaining to do. “Jo” and Marie are gonna “zap” Bette. Then “Joanna”? Kennard who is supposed to be a man? Are Joanna and Marie lesbians, and Marie seemed not upset at all. Did Tina not know her parents are lesbians and not man and woman? Please provide answers, QUICKLY, please. Great chapter. Thanks for posting.

    11. Would Joanna by any chance be from Bette´s world having eloped with an earthling?? – which would make Tina capable of impregnating Bette??
