“Why in the world would they play here? This place is a dump.” Dana made her way through the crowd with Helena, Tina and Bette.
“Well maybe they can find a better fan base in the lower area of LA.” Tina said as they took a seat at the table.
“They can find a fan base anywhere—it doesn’t mean that lower areas they can find fans.” Bette sighed as she sat next to Tina.
“I was just saying, maybe they can.”
“How about you stop talking?” Tina scuffed and rolled her eyes. Helena snickered softly, and Tina cut her eyes at her. Helena cleared her throat and looked at the stage.
“So how many bands are playing before they come on?” Dana asked.
“I think they’re the first band.”
“Everybody put your hands together for OC Misery.” Everybody cheered and clapped, and Dana scrunched up her nose.
“Their name is OC Misery. Couldn’t they think of another name?”
“It doesn’t matter—as long as they do great.” Helena spoke up and whistled for Shane, Alice and Mark and Mark’s friend Gomey. Shane began to play the first note of Dead by My Chemical Romance. Alice followed after Shane and then Gomey came in. Mark was beating on the drums, and the crowd went crazy. Alice approached the microphone.

“Dana, come join me on the floor.” Helena got up, and she held out her hand. Dana smiled and reached for Helena’s hand. They walked out on the floor and through the crowd. They made their way to the front of the stage and began to move with the music.

This is such a BeLena fic.. Which means Tina is going to be conveyed as the uber-bitch. *sigh* well at least I’m prepared and at least the writing is good :)
ACB, I am liking this take of the youth of the gang. There is a real whacked out humor here. THe attraction between Bette and Helena is interesting and evident as Tina can testify. Tina needs to sort her shit with Bette out now. Loved the rest of the gang and the whole band scenario. More please. Thank you for this new story. Your Loyal Fan.
Aki I could so see Shane and AL up on stage rocking. And I see that Bette and Tina are about to call it quits,(YES),LOL. Dana well what can I say she is Dana and loved how Helena called her on liking Al, cool. Then again I like Helena.

I was just in the middle or reading your other older stories. I can picture Alice and Shane on stage being cool and having a blast. Did you use this song because of Dana? So far so good. Love seeing them getting into trouble and getting out of it. pps.
