    Tina faces off Adele – who are you betting on ?

    YOU’RE MY HOME

    Chapter 16

     

    Tina couldn’t believe how much she could enjoy a Monday morning. Bette had got up first and cooked scrambled eggs for all three of them which they had scoffed down along with toast and lots of fruit juice. It had been a good start to the day – Angie was in fits of giggles at something that Bette had done to make her laugh and was calling Bette “ silly mommy “. Bette had been in great form – making Angie laugh and smiling at Tina in the way that only Bette could. They had hugged and kissed their farewells and Bette had put Angie into her car to drive her to pre-school. Tina had got into her car and driven through rush hour LA in a great mood, reflecting on the weekend and the continued success of being back with Bette.

     

    Tina had known that Bette had changed – she had seen the new side to her former wife gradually emerging – watched as Bette had softened and become easier going. It was a transformation that Tina had doubted that Bette could make but she had and it had played a huge part in Tina wanting Bette back again. Plus – well -they couldn’t stay away from one another – as Alice had said – they were lobsters.

     

     

    So Tina was in a good mood when she arrived at her office – her mood improved even more with the first message she received – Adele had called a meeting in the board room. This was going to be a truly sweet moment in her life. Tina made a couple of calls and timing it so she arrived five minutes late she strolled into the boardroom in supreme alpha mode

     

    “You’re late “ Adele snapped as Tina sat down

     

    “I had things to do “ Tina replied giving Adele the look of arrogance that Bette did so well

     

    “I have called you all here because I care deeply about this production “

     

    Tina caught Jenny’s eye and smiled. The young woman returned the smile but it was clear to Tina that Jenny was anxious about what was about to be unfurled

    1. Glad Tina did well..and I loved the Bette/Tina scene. However, I kind of hated that Jenny/Nikki got away scot free after all of their ridiculously unprofessional behavior on the set. I don’t care if they fuck in the privacy of homes but holding up production so they could have sex, leaving in the middle of the day, and blowing off shoots to be together like on the show means that I don’t really think they were good for the film either.

    2. Tina did well in crushing adele.love the back and forth between bette and tina was so cute… yeah they will move in together. angie deserves a little surprise for snitching on adele,lol.. :)

    5. Wow, Tina has a killer instinct when she wants too. I like the fact that she talked to Bette about it and took advice from the master. It shows that each of them know each other’s strengths well and are not afraid anymore to lean on one another. Their dialogue is precious! Can’t wait until it’s post time again.

    8. First I have to say… I wish Tina WAS dancing naked on the table!!! LOL Anyways, great chapter! I really like this fic and the pace is going really, really well! PPS!!!

    9. Wonderful update AllyE. Love it when Tina goes all alpha on someone and Adele deserved everything she got and then some. Loved the interaction between Tina and Bette and it is great that she will be moving back home. They deserve all the happiness and lvoe they can find. Post when you can and take care of yourself.

You do know what passes through that organ, right? :) Loved the sweet, loving Bette & Tina banter and how Tina, channeling Dean Porter, gave Adele a mighty kick in the butt.     14. WHOO-HOO, Alpha Tina has arrived. I love how she gave the campus a new Dean Porter rumor to spread. This story just keeps getting better and better!

    15. you were spot on ally; I did really enjoy this post (but then again I enjoy all your post so big deal…lol). Good thing Tina was able to use that Porter brain to out wit sill Adele. I can just picture adele standing there seeing that her big plan had just unraveled in front of her face….totally wicked. Well i can’t wait for the next update; PPS!
