Is anyone else getting excited that it’s just one more month to go before L9 Convention? The latest L Convention will take place from the 11th to 13th November 2011 at the Hilton Hotel in Birmingham and will be filled with lots of fun, entertainment, meetings and good times with friends.

 

After “The L Word” ended there weren’t as many lesbian-themed shows on TV or the Internet, except for a few gay and lesbian characters. But slowly a few new shows emerged that picked up the torch that “The L Word” was carrying. Taking this into consideration, the Starfury’s organizers invited several guests from other shows to L8 Convention and it was a tremendous success.

The current convention has eight fabulous confirmed guests that include Kate Moennig (Shane), Leisha Hailey (Alice), Elisabeth Keener and Alicia Willis (Dawn Denbo and her lover Cindi), Gabrielle Christian (Spencer from “South of Nowhere”), Tracy Ryerson and Stamie Karakasidis (“The Real L Word”), and Heather Peace (Sam from “Lip Service”).
