It’s the unofficial start of summer – Memorial Day Weekend in the best gay resort in the US, Provincetown, Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

Lea Delaria, Big Boo from Orange is the New Black, and longtime lesbian comedian, will headline a benefit at Provincetown’s iconic Town Hall with her LAST BUTCH STANDING act, her comedic look at what it is like to be a bad ass dyke daddy in the post Ellen 21st century.

Go Magazine says this about LAST BUTCH STANDING:

Last Butch Standing… has the quality of a really blue, politically incorrect tent revival with Brother Lea testifying to power and glory of the butch dyke and nellie queen, accompanied by a jazz combo. She’s shed her blood for us, and has the BUTCH tattoo on her forearm to prove it. Pretty much everyone in the community (as well as the idea of a “community”) is up for DeLaria’s acid analysis. She calls it as she sees it, and it may touch a nerve or several. Everyone’s in for it: lesbians, “mainstream” queers, trans people, fans of Star Trek: the Next Generation…DeLaria is menopausal these days, or rather peri-menopausal, and she stops to explore the concept of Perry Como menopausal and Katy Perry menopausal.

• Rebel – Let your wild side out at REBEL on Saturday for the sexiest new night on the strip. DJ, dancing, and more. Remember ladies: What happens in P-Town stays in P-Town (until it gets posted on Facebook ;) Featuring DJ Reese. 
• Diva Dash – 5K Charity Fun Run/Walk
• Rehab Pool Party – Bust out the bikinis and board shorts for the 3rd Annual Rehab Women’s Pool Party at The Crown. Relax, revive, refresh, and party as hard as you possibly can with a special guest dj, dancing, and lots of half naked women. Don’t forget your towel because you will get wet.  
• Space Carnival – Join us at our signature weekend closing party this year as it goes Above and Beyond! Mardi Gras/Carnival meets the future, but the future is now. Featuring DJ Dena.
