    Ignorance is bliss but the truth is hell

    Accelerated. Fast. That was the speed in which this whole situation was spiraling downwards at. Where the fuck was this all going and why in the hell did she have an ominous feeling that what she knew wasn’t the whole story? ‘Fuck it.’ Ashley wasn’t one for trusting her instincts… usually. But the events that had occurred were beginning to change that logic. ‘Whatever.’ All she knew was that this was heading straight for the jagged rocks of an ending she didn’t even want to imagine. ‘Shit.’

    Why couldn’t anything be easy? Why couldn’t she just march into that hospital, sneak into that guys room, and smother him to death with a pillow? The world would be a better place, the inevitable wouldn’t have to come into fruitation and after snorting as much blow as her body could stand to avoid having to think about what she’d done, she could go home to Spencer and live happily ever after. ‘Ew, even that’s too sordid for me.’

    There were no other options, no choices, no room for any maneuverability and it was absolutely oppressing, depressing, and scary as hell. She would have to face Gideon’s wrath and hope that she still had some good karma left because he was going to be pissed off. She slept with the enemy… not literally and not full out Benedict Arnold style treachery but she still went behind his back. Guilt. Such a shitty feeling.

    Now she had the distinct displeasure of informing him of her deviance and then groveling and then, if he forgave her, trying to get into that meeting tomorrow with his good graces. The thought made her sick, not the groveling or the telling him part, that would be bearable. No. It was the meeting that she wasn’t looking forward too. It meant donning a black bandanna that she had kept safely tucked away on the top shelf of her walk-in closet in order to never have to see the wretched thing again. Why she didn’t burn it or throw it away, she couldn’t tell you. When she tried to, something felt so very wrong and for once, she listened to her instincts and hid it instead. ‘Out of sight out of mind.’

    In the back of her mind, she knew that Dano would probably back her up in some manner or another but that still wasn’t enough to take away even a sliver of the dread she felt. And then there was Spencer… It was unbelievable how central her part was in all of this and yet how little she was going to be involved with the chain reaction that had been set in motion. She would have no idea of the repercussions and she would have no idea about the ending if Ashley had her way. ‘Sometimes ignorance is truly bliss.’

    2. first i must say that i absolutly LOVE you for posting more than 1 or 2 pages…totally rockin’ of you….and this was such a great post…dano and gideon fighting sadly reminded me of me and my older bro…we get down like that too…but it was really good…and I KNEW madison was gonna kiss dano…one way or another…ohhh the next post is gonna be so SWEET!
