    SPENCER’S P.O.V.

    I stayed in the room with Ashley until she fell asleep. I kept trying to cheer her up, I suggested we leave the house and go somewhere, but she just kept replying that she won’t drive anywhere with her car looking like crap. She just stayed in bed, trying to figure out ways to hurt Emily, and cursing the summer for cutting in on her chances of causing harm to ‘crazy bitch’. That’s what Ashley has been referring to Emily as now.

    I left her sleeping in her bed and went to my room. I’m sitting on my bed, staring at my piggy bank. My parents got it for me when I was born, I’ve been saving since then. I’m not supposed to open it until I’m 18, but I’m almost there. I think this is a worthy cause to open it early. I was going to put it towards my college fund, books, something like that, but that’s a while away. My parents have the real college fund in a secured bank account. I should be able to raise more money by then. I kiss my piggy bank and raise the hammer.

    Spencer: “Goodbye Miss Piggy.” I say just before I bring the hammer down hard, smashing my piggy bank open. I count the money and sigh disapointedly, finding its not enough.

    I’m in the living room with the T.V. on, but it’s basically watching me as my thoughts drift off, thinking of how I can come up with the cash to pay for getting her car fixed. The front door opens and Christine walks in.

    Christine: “Oh, hey Spence.” She smiles at me, then confusion covers her face. “Why aren’t you and Ashley at the mall or something? It’s the first weekend of summer break.”

    Spencer: “She’s sleeping right now, but she won’t even come out of her room.”

    Christine: “She’s really upset about her car, huh?”

    Spencer: “Yeah, and there’s this guy that’ll fix it but I don’t have enough money.” I say looking up at her. She sighs then sits down next to me.

    Christine: “How much do you need?” My eyes stretch.

    Spencer: “I didn’t tell you this hoping you’d pay for it, I was just saying.”

    Christine: “Spencer, its ok. She’s my daughter, I hate seeing her upset just as much as you do. I want to help.” I smile and go up to her, hugging her tightly.

    3. oh i would hate to have to break my piggy bank! well, if i had a piggy bank :) shame on you spencer carlin for not investing that money in a real bank! but… with the economy in shambles like it is right now, maybe under a pillow is the safest place. ANYWAY! that concludes my ramble because im freezing. it’s snowing/hailing here in the midwest and my mom won’t turn on the heat. grr.Post more please! i

    6. Aww…I love this update. Spencers definitely the bestest! So..what exactly do you mean when you say we won’t like how emily pays? Is she gonna get hit by a bus or something? Which wouldn’t be so bad lol. Jk. PMS!!!!

    7. with the amount of work they did to the car you did an impecible job of estimating thats just about right it doesnt take that long just for the paint but good job with the details..although ive never seen a mustang with spinners lol it would probly look awsome if you put it in there :) pms please this is my altime fav story i look forword to reading it :) i cant wait :)
