    Ashley: “Now?”

    Spencer: “Now.” She says, slowly removing her hand from my eyes.

    I. Am. Speechless. I look at Spencer, then to the car.

    Ashley: “That…that’s mine?” I ask dumbfounded. She just smiles at me and nods. “It’s the same car?” I ask wide eyed. She just chuckles and nods again.

    I walk forward, touching my car. It looks brand new. My 1999 GT Mustang Convertible is now silver. It was yellow before, I hated the color on it, but it was a car so I took it. But now…now it looks brand new. I bend down, running my fingers lightly along the hood, not wanting to get fingerprints on it, but needing to feel it to make sure I’m not imagining things. It has new rims now, the spinny ones! I spin one and the biggest smile comes on my face. I stand up, open the door and carefully slide in and feel the new interior. I turn it on and music blasts through the speakers.

    Ashley: “New speakers too?!” I ask surprised. She nods, keeping the smile on her face.

    I let the hood down and the sun floods in, lighting up the car, making everything shine brighter. I run my hands around the steering wheel and over the dashboard.

    Spencer: “There’s also an alarm on the car so if anyone ever tries to steal it or…something like this happens again.” I smile at her. I get out of the car, and gently close the door. I turn to Spencer.

    Ashley: “You did all of this…for me?”

    Spencer: “Well who else would I do it for silly?” She says grinning.

    Ashley: “It must have cost a fortune!”

    Spencer: “I had to break Miss Piggy.”

    Ashley: “What?! Spencer you’ve been saving that since you were a baby!” I exclaim.

    Spencer: “You’re worth it. I hate seeing you so sad, whatever can be done to make you happy, I’ll do it." She says genuinely. "Your mom helped pay for it too. She paid like over half of it, you should thank her.” I just smile heartfelt an nod, taking her in my arms and hug her lovingly.

    Ashley: “I love you Spencer.” I whisper in her ear.

    Be jealous, because I have THE BEST girlfriend in the world, and that, IS a fact.

    3. oh i would hate to have to break my piggy bank! well, if i had a piggy bank :) shame on you spencer carlin for not investing that money in a real bank! but… with the economy in shambles like it is right now, maybe under a pillow is the safest place. ANYWAY! that concludes my ramble because im freezing. it’s snowing/hailing here in the midwest and my mom won’t turn on the heat. grr.Post more please! i

    6. Aww…I love this update. Spencers definitely the bestest! So..what exactly do you mean when you say we won’t like how emily pays? Is she gonna get hit by a bus or something? Which wouldn’t be so bad lol. Jk. PMS!!!!

    7. with the amount of work they did to the car you did an impecible job of estimating thats just about right it doesnt take that long just for the paint but good job with the details..although ive never seen a mustang with spinners lol it would probly look awsome if you put it in there :) pms please this is my altime fav story i look forword to reading it :) i cant wait :)
