Spencer: Ash…(completely serious face)

Ashley: yeah?

Spencer: you totally like me don’t you…(she cracks up laughing. I sit in silence)

Ashley: Well I’m glad you can laugh about it…

Spencer: No Ash…thats not what I meant. I just, you are the first girl I’ve ever liked like this…Oh my god! I have only known you for two days. 

Ashley: I told you…I’m a badass. I’m also a charmer.

Spencer: I don’t know about this…you have an ego the size of an elephant. How am I supposed to deal with that?(still smiling)

Ashley: It didn’t seem to bother you when you wanted to kiss me? 

Spencer: Oh you are so funny. 

(We start to hold hands again…it feels nice. She turned to her side, facing me and put her hand over my stomach…then quickly removed it.)

Ashley: Um…hey?

Spencer: Sorry, I’m cold and you are extremely warm…my bad. 

(I grab her arm and pull it over my stomach. She puts her head on my shoulder and I wrap my arm around her.)

Ashley: Better?

Spencer: Yes…although. I have another question…

Ashley: Ugh..what am I gunna do with you and all these questions. You define the word “curious”…Pun intended. (I smile big and chuckle)

Spencer: (hits my stomach playfully) Well I was just going to ask you why you didn’t kiss me if you like me so much? Is it because I haven’t kissed a girl before?

Ashley: Look…Spencer. I really like you, and the fact that I haven’t taken advantage of you is a miracle in my book. Sure its been two days…I don’t want to get ahead of ourselves here. I’m usually not the “commitment” type, but you are different than all the other girls…(she looked at me, she had a frustrated look about her.)

Spencer: So I’m guessing you’ve been with alot of girls?

Ashley: I…honestly?

Spencer: Yes or no question Ashley. Honestly.

Ashley: Yes. I’ve been with my share of girls. But they didn’t mean anything. Usually one night stands. (Ok…now close your mouth Davies. You are blowing it.)

Spencer: Ok…so none of those girls meant anything…how do I know I will?

Ashley: Spencer, just the fact I didn’t kiss you says it all. I don’t want that to happen, kissing leads to things you know?
